Just was there at 315 on a Saturday and google says they should be open but lights are off and doors are locked. Fix yourselves

When they are open, they're great. I haven't experienced the rude staff others mention in their reviews. However, it's very hit or miss whether they will be open when you go. They were closed yesterday, Saturday 3-8-25 at 2:30 in the afternoon. No sign saying why or anything. Just locked doors. It's not the first time I've found this; from other's reviews it's apparent it's very common at the Bozeman location. I don't see how they can stay open much longer if this continues.

Went to go get ice cream with my family at 7:30 p.m. with in there business hours and there locked up and all lights shut off i can't believe a business can survive with always being closed

Permanently closed, we’ve been to this location multiple times over the last few months and not once have the lights been on. Safe to say they’re closed and will not be able to serve you.

Was closed the day that I was supposed to pick up a birthday cake. I had ordered 2 days in advance and had no notification that they would be unexpectedly closed. Hope to get my $40 back!

Ordered 2 custom cakes for my son’s birthday to pick up on a specific day over the phone. Drove 2 hours 1 way to pick them up the day before my son’s birthday and they’re closed at 2:00 pm during business hours, no answer on the phone. Try explaining to a young child the ice cream cake he really wanted is no longer an option and having a 4 hour round trip you planned strictly to get the cakes for him

Said there hours were 11-9p.m. and i showed up at 2 for an order and the doors were locked. the man that opened the door wasn’t even aware that there were orders and it looked like he was getting ready to hop on a bus to leave. 0/5 stars. absolutely unbelievable

Does anybody work here on a Saturday night at 6pm? One person working.... handling the ice cream, making all the different types of ice cream on menu, working the register and then repeat.... i hope your paying a lot for one person to do all

New management and a whole new crew. Very easy to work with and do their absolute best with just getting started. The site says they are closed but they aren't they are open. Best experience I've had in a long while at this location. Good job guys keep it up.

Great place to get ice cream. Tons of combinations between flavors and mix-ins. Wasn't too busy on a cold evening. Ice cream is so creamy and tasty. Definitely recommend it.

Hours were “recently confirmed” by the business and the “fall special hours” are posted on the door, but when we arrived at 7:55 PM on Tuesday 10/22 they were already closed and emptied out. Lights off and no one in the store whereas the hours say theyre open until 9:00 PM.

Do you love getting excited to go get some ice cream, then driving over to your local Cold Stone, walking up to the door, and finding it locked? Then you read the hours posted on the door to make sure you're not crazy and see that, indeed at 4:00 p.m. on a Thursday, they should be open. Then you realize that this is the third time you have gone during business hours and their doors have been locked with nobody around. Then you start to question your existence and your sanity and wonder if getting some ice cream that you "gotta have" was worth it at all? If so, this is the Cold Stone for you! Never open when they say they're going to be! And when they are *rarely* open, you're in for a real treat. You'll be treated like a piece of dirt. If that's your thing, this is the place for you.

3:30 on Thursday and the doors are locked. I know they are short staffed but we drove from Emigrant (1 hour) for this.

Easily the worst run establishment in the city of Bozeman. The manager peeled off to take their child to soccer practice, fair, but left the establishment in the hands of an employee who is both evasive and incompetent. 12 people, including myself, stood outside waiting for the employee to acknowledge us and subsequently open the doors, but rather than address the situation, the employee sat on their phone and refused to show face.

I thought the other 1-star reviews were harsh until I experienced firsthand the dumpster fire of an establishment that this place truly is.

Do yourself a favor and go anywhere but here.
