Dickey's Barbecue Pit

Boy has my opinion gone downhill here...
Twice this week I drove in to get Dickey's barbecue after both the voicemail and website said they were open only to find them closed. How hard is it to update a voicemail message???
When I called the store and asked for the ownership contact info the manager told me to find it myself and hung up on me.
I will be returning my $200 in Dickies gift cards I bought at costco and find a new source for barbecue.

Ordered boneless wings and received Dino nuggets. They said this was their "solution"

These guys knocked it out of the park - again! We ordered several big yellow boxes for our group of 45 students and chaperones for state volleyball. They had everything ready to go, and even helped take it to the car.
Stellar service and killer food, as always!
We had one student that was gluten free, and it was fantastic to have so many delicious options for her to choose from.

I've been eating at dickeys for 15 years across 3 states, and this location has progressively gotten worse since covid. I don't know if it's the staff on a particular shift or if the important details aren't be practiced or trained properly, but the brisket is even drier than the previous time, the last 5 times I've picked up from there.
It really is a shame because I used to wonder how anyone could go to Arby's for lunch with a Dickeys right next door. Now I'm spending $30/lb for brisket that's inedible without drowning it in sauce. I order $70 of food and tip 20% on top of it before even seeing the food, and I'm always disappointed now. I can't and won't be going back there.

Make sure you get plenty of sauce. Driest BBQ in the world. Incorrect sauces delivered. Ribs rock hard and completely inedible, at least the dogs will eat it after removing the 1/2 in of bone from them. If I could rate a 0 I happily would. Can't believe I spent almost $30 for inedible incorrect food.

The brisket was as tough as Jack's links jerky, the pulled pork was dry and the baked beans were more bland than any I have tasted before. Save your money and get superior beef at Arby's on the other side of the parking lot.

Just spent thirty dollars for a portion that was smaller than an elementary school lunch. Definitely won’t go again

I placed catering order and Brianna took excellent care of me! She helped me to figure out how much food I needed and how to place the order. She was even kind enough to help me carry all of the food to the car.

I showed up 45 minutes before they are supposed to close according to Google. The open sign was still on, but the doors were locked and someone was mopping. No signs with hours or indicating if maybe they are drive through only for the last hour or something. Update your hours or put up a sign instead of looking at me funny for trying to come in a restaurant with an open sign on.

I was worried about the chili being too spicy and the girls working tonight we wonderful and made me brisket/queso fries. Super great service tonight!

I ordered two plate meals on the app with a 5:45 pickup time scheduled. I waited at the drive thru window for 14minutes past that time and had to knock on the window twice.
