Fresco Café is absolutely amazing! We were promptly seated by our host upon arriving for our reservation, and they gave my friend and me the cutest little balcony table right over the water. It was absolutely delightful and so tranquil — the atmosphere here is truly top notch.
While this visit was just a friend date, this would definitely be a romantic spot, too! The service was wonderful. I wish I remembered our server’s name because she was fantastic — warm, attentive, and so knowledgeable about both the menu and the wine list. Her wine recommendation was spot-on.
We started with the shrimp appetizer, which was the perfect way to kick off our meal. For my entrée, I had the lasagna — delicious! We ended on a sweet note with the Italian cheesecake, which was heavenly.
I’ve already booked my next reservation! This is hands-down some of the best food in Bozeman.

A fabulous setting outside by the creek. Food was good. Alas, Sierra was our server and she was horrific, not at all the typical service. We ordered a bottle of wine a she completely forgot we ordered it, even when I reminded her she looked at me like she had no memory of even speaking to me. Ordered the salmon special based on her description. As she delivered it she indicated that she ‘kinda described it wrong’. It wasn’t even close. It was okay, but I would never have ordered it. When our bill came she added extra wine and did the same thing to the table next to us. High, drunk or just ditzy? Get rid of her

We are locals and eat here regularly. We had the herbed ricotta, lamb chops, puttanesca, and the chefs were on point as always. We had a bottle of Oberon Cab. which was amazing and the Italian cheesecake was to die for. The atmosphere is very quaint, romantic, and the roll up doors were open letting in that incredible mountain air. The service is always top notch. My girlfriend and I cannot recommend Cafe Fresco enough!

I have been meaning to go here for years and have always stuck with a different option. I'm glad to now have this on the rotation and will be back.
Next time I will be trying the chicken parmesan but the homemade pasta was great as was the bruschetta.

I got takeout from here, the vibe of the restaurant was very cool when I picked up my food. I got the meatballs for an app and salmon for an entree. Both tasted superb and were packed to travel well! I also had leftovers due to the portions being pretty big. Looking forward to going back and trying the chicken parm!

Our visit to Café Fresco was wonderful. We had a great conversation with Josie—she was so warm, personable, and truly made the experience memorable, even though she wasn’t our server. The wine was lovely, and the sausage ravioli was absolutely delicious. We’ll definitely be back!
