Sushi was mediocre - not bad. The Japanese tots were just tater tots. But the chicken karaage tasted like Tyson microwave chicken nuggets... like someone literally just ran over to Albertsons and grabbed a box out of the freezer. Not karaage at all.

I'm so disappointed that you changed the chicken in the Crazy Karaage. For years I have raved about this as the best fried chicken dish in Bozeman. Everyone I have sent or brought to Hachi has agreed. The new chicken is not even close to the same level. I doubt I will spend much time there now. Please let me know if you decide to change it back.
Food sucked and overpriced just like most places in the town these days. Service was good tho.

Hachi is so amazing I personally don't love sushi but there are so many other options to have! The sake is great quite a few popular options to chose from.

Great, quiet sushi bar atmosphere. Exceptional service, very short wait, and delicious food. We loved the tempura shrimp.

My wife and I are here one night. We have trouble finding places to eat out together due to her allergies. The staff was more than accommodating and helped us have a great date night. The food was great, the service was even better, would recommend to anyone looking for something great to eat.

Let me make this easy for you. Tell your friend, spouse, neighbor, dog, whatever to go grab their keys and you can read them this review on the way to the restaurant so you don’t waste any time. The Hachi sushi pub is in a building with other restaurants. I don’t know what to hit kids call these days but I would say it’s like a grown-up food court ( yeah, I’m old and that’s the reference. I’m gonna use, deal with it.) The cool things about a situation like this is most of the time one or two of the businesses will have bars and luckily for us, Hachi sushi pub and also the restaurant next-door had a full bar. You can take your cocktail after dinner and wander around as long as you stay inside the confines the building, and I believe the outdoor patios, but don’t quote me on that.
Our server gave a great recommendation for a meal. We both started off with miso soup that had a great flavor to it. Usually, you get some water down the seaweed water with tofu, but not this. It was really flavorful. We had the pork dumplings, which would have been great on their own, but they came with a that added an extra kick to them. My wife had the fried rice added chicken along with her Captain Morgan and Diet Coke from the full bar next-door. I have the recommended special K roll and a drink called the elk hunter. After a few more of those elk hunters, I would’ve been up in the hills hunting them by hand. We could’ve spent more time here, but everything was closing up. I’m sad. We only went there once as we were leaving town the next day. I would go back in a heartbeat.

I really like this place. I'd give it 5 stars, but I can't eat any of the fried goods because it's all fried in beef tallow (beef allergy).
We have been here a few times but today was the last day we will ever eat here again. We tried to order take out to PICK UP and you can not order over the phone with them(they don’t even have a phone that they can answer), when you order online it redirects you to DoorDash, so our rolls were already almost twice the price since we also had to pay door dashes fees. Our rolls arrived and they were absolutely unacceptable. They were warm and crusty as if they were sitting out for days. I couldn’t call the restaurant because they don’t have a phone so I drove to the location and spoke with a Manager about how we just paid 140$ for 5 garbage rolls and sub-par pork dumplings. 140$! The manager stated “sometimes it can take a while for your food to get to you with door dash”. The sushi sits out in the grocery stores all day and tastes better than what we just ordered from them. They remade the rolls for us, they definitely appeared to be more fresh than the last batch we got but still tasted horrible. So disappointed.
Sushi was really good, I had the daily special and the black widow. Bar is open seating, fun to watch our sushi be made.
I only wish our server would have let us know that edamame was complementary because we double ordered and it felt like he was just trying to pad the bill. Otherwise, great experience

Had a great meal here. Ramen, dumplings, and Sushi are all good. The upstairs was great with several arcade games. Macy is a fantastic person and provided great service.
