This is genuinely some of the best food in town. Coming from a Mexican household, I can vouch that this food makes me feel right at home. And the owners are amazing. Some of the best people in town.

Came in for huevos rancheros & they didn’t have them. So I asked if I could order an egg on top of enchiladas. She said no. So I reluctantly ordered the chorizo burrito. I asked for a side of green sauce for it, she said no. What ultimately did it though for me was the fact that I witnessed her scoop the egg chorizo mixture out from a half pan that was just sitting out on the prep table with no hot holding or nothing. That’s a violation of health code, & I asked for my money back since I didn’t want to pay $5 for a tummy ache. Be warned, food safety isn’t the top priority here.

I am in love. Their burritos have a dignity and elegance that rises above the rest, just as a granite peak rises above the valley fog. La Tinga is calling and I must go.

This is truly the best Mexican food I have ever had. Potentially even the best food I have ever had. Words cannot describe how much I enjoyed their food. They were friendly and the restaurant was comfortable. Please show the folks where some love and check them out

I didn’t like the steak tacos and the tortilla kept breaking. Was disappointed with the quality.

The huevos rancheros are the most amazing thing I’ve ever eaten. You HAVE to try them. I always get a few tamales to go in the morning as well and save them for lunch. They’re spicy and delicious and perfect. This is the best place and the staff is always so kind and friendly, you truly feel like family when you come here.

Simple, casual, and very well-made. The mole, carne asada tacos, and fish taco special on Fridays during Lent are extremely good. Service is always friendly. Be prepared to pay with cash or Venmo, and pick up your food from the counter. This is a great choice for regular visits.
