Stop 5 of 8 for Montana on our Hundreds of Hops self-guided US Hop Passport Brewery Tour Amazing Brewery Race was technically a lovely Cider House
We haven't had good luck with ciders & are not very experienced with cider. We admittedly drove by twice before parking a goid ways away & walking around the block & up. The parking leaves much to be desired if you are looking for an open lot or close spot. We'd been in the car all day & were happy to get in a bit of a leg stretch, even parked a bit further than we needed to for that reason, as we had plenty of time at this stop.
We went up to the counter & told the gal we were lost when it came to ciders & explained our wine preferences (dry) for reference. This seemed to work well & she was happy to pound out several samples for us to try before we committed.
I chose the backyard blend, which, as the name implies, is a blend of several varieties from local backyards (how cool is that?) While Kel went with the flathead cherry which had cherries fermented with the apples, giving a nice vinegar-like-taste (in a good way, kind of like red cabbage, if I had to give a comparison)
Anywho, we were VERY pleasantly surprised. There are foid options but we didn't try any.
The seating space indoors & out was lovely!

Great spot for a variety of delicious ciders. It’s great to have a place where all the options are gluten free and the staff is friendly. They have indoor and outdoor seating, great for socializing and playing games!

I love Lockhorn! Not only is it a great atmosphere, I really appreciate their gluten free options! The cider is amazing, my favorite is the Bone Dry, but I also love their rotating flavors! Be sure to stop by here while you're in Bozeman, you don't want to miss this place!

small and cute, nice patio, local art on the walls, fantastic friendly service, and delicious cider. i was able to sample a couple ciders which were all great, and got a chai cider which i loved. Hidden and underrated spot which i highly recommend.

They serve good cider and they serve it well, loads of card/board games to play and really cozy especially when it's cold out. The parking is tough so prepare to walk a block or so, also I met my fiance here :)
Such a neat little place! The cider selection is really nice, and the flight is pretty great if you’re having trouble deciding/want to try a lot of different ciders. Very cozy atmosphere. I’m a particular fan of the hot cider, it’s like melted gold!
Vegetarian options: They’ve got pickled vegetables and olives and stuff. Definitely some vegetarian options!

First time here. Service was great and gave me a lot of information to help me decide what to order. The Raspberry Cider was delicious! Loved the atmosphere (very comfortable, great decor and comfortable seating). When I went, it wasn't busy at all, which was great, but I think I would still enjoy the atmosphere if it were busy.

Nice place to go for a drink. They had outdoor seating and an air-conditioned interior. They had a lot of ciders on tap and even suggested mixing a few of them together to create your own cider. The bartender was great, and the cider was good.
