This is my absolute favorite poke place. The staff is very kind and I’ve never had a bad experience in the 3 years I’ve been eating at Oba. Whether it’s over doordash or in person, my food is always incredible and is served in a timely manner. Wish all poke places could be as tasty as this one!

They replaced an item on my order with a food item I cannot stand without consulting me resulting in my purchase of an item I have no desire to eat. And no way to resolve it since I order delivery. Do not make substitutions on food orders if you do not know peoples tastes and allergens. Absolutely unprofessional.

Absolutely horrible service. I had to call them three times to try to specify what I needed for my order, and I ended up paying three times what I should have for food that I could not even eat the first time they delivered it. They don’t tell me that they cover their sushi in sesame seeds which tons of people are allergic to, and I specifically spoke with the manager and chef and I asked what was on the sushi before confirming my order, nobody said anything about sesame seeds, so of course I was upset when it came and it had all of those seeds on it so I couldn’t eat anything. Having a specific sushi order that the owner/manager tells you they can cater to and then delivers the wrong item a second time after I had to speak with them three times is so unprofessional, and I will likely never order here again. I cannot believe the way they treated me or the lack of regard to their ingredients and service towards customers.

Oba is one of the best and in my opinion most slept on spots in Bozeman. It’s small quiet and quick. The sushi bowls are incredible. I eat there all the time after the gym.
The BBQ steamed pork buns and taro milk tea are amazing, I can't stop going back!
Dietary restrictions: The California rolls use real crab so they are GF, the rest use imitation crab but I am sure they could customize if needed
Wheelchair accessibility: There is disability parking, a dip in the side walk, and a ramp up to the door, there is no button for the door but it is a hook door so it isn't quite as difficult to open as a twist handle might be.
