Way overpriced. Steaks were warm, filet was good, ribeye not so much. Brussel spouts, fries and potato puree were cold, staff seemed unhappy when we sent the order of fries back asking for a warm order. Over $200 for 2 without drinks or desert, would expect a way better experience for the $$.

32oz Tomahawk ordered medium came out red and looked like 20oz. Halibut was way overcooked. 375 and would have had a better meal at Arby's. Manager and waiter did not show any interest in resolving any thing.

13 dudes walked through a completely empty Open Range to a Hogwartz-like table in the back, as this was *the* dinner for the bachelor party.

I was seated at one of the heads, and immediately absorbed my surroundings. The first thing I picked up on was a Tshirt hanging in the kitchen that had Trump's Mugshot with the text "Wanted... For President."

The 2nd thing I picked up on was our waitress looked straight out of the Renaissance. She looked just like the Mona Lisa, but with a modern twist. I'm really shy, but after a negroni or 2, I told her as much.

I thought it was a compliment, but I don't think she really appreciated it.

I know she went back to the kitchen and took a good hard look at a picture of the Mona Lisa on google images, because she came back and said "The Mona Lisa is NOT cute..." I jabbed back with "It's literally the most valuable portrait ever painted..."

My homie, who the group knows as "The Rizzler," chimed in with a "You're like if the Mona Lisa was extremely beautiful..."

He proceeded to ask her to be his date to the wedding, but she is in a very happy relationship. Shooters shoot though and he stays shooting turn-around fades over the double team. You can't help but respect that.

After we all went around the table saying kind/not so kind words about the Bachelor, we put in our orders.

I went with the 16oz Beef Ribeye ($72) because I'm a beast. Diesel, one of the groomsmen who I met on this trip, asked if they had a burger to which Mona said "No, I'm sorry..."

Diesel whispered to me in a genuinely curious, yet slightly embarrassed tone "Is a Ribeye good? I've never had one." I held back my internal thoughts of "BRO YOU'VE NEVER HAD A RIBEYE!?!?!?" as he proceeded to confide in me that he had the palate of an 8 year old, but wanted to expand his taste. I told him he had to pull the trigger on the Ribeye.

The food came and as I sat there thinking this ribeye was the poster child for a 7.5/10, Diesel grabs my arm while smiling from ear to ear and says while still chewing "Bro oh my god, this is legit the best steak I've ever had in my life."

I love the Diesels of the world, genuinely happy to experience new things in life that I take for granted. We are all on our own journeys through life.

We were in here for about 2 and a half hours total, ripping wine, negronis, coors lights, espresso martinis, and some 7.5/10 Ribeyes. Idk why, but I knew sitting there that this dinner would be a core memory for me. It’s always cool to know you are in a core memory while you are actually in one.

Great food, excellent service, and a nice atmosphere. Definitely on the expensive side. But, some places are just worth it. If I had to say one thing bad. The steak could have been slightly better quality for the price. The cesaer was excellent.

Restaurant aesthetic is great and sound was quiet for a date. Food was not anything special and felt incredibly overpriced compared to many other steakhouses I dine at (both independent and chain). Had a challenge with food temperature which was resolved but no compensation given, listed anniversary celebration and no acknowledgement. Menu previously stated meat was from Dillion ranch in MT ... main reason we chose restaurant for this feature. Now menu states tri-state area so not as locally sourced as listed on open table. Menus were flimsy paper which should have been our first sign that the restaurant was not what it used to be when initially listed profile on open table. Overall an overpriced disappointing experience.

I really enjoyed my bison filet with the potato puree. The beef cheek bourgignon was very good too. The salads were large in size. The staff was very nice.

The food and atmosphere at open range is amazing every time I go in. The service and people, I always leave excited for the next time I come back. Make it a priority when you visit Bozeman- and I’m I Bozeman local.

Unfortunately, we never got to experience the food. We walked in & the restaurant is gorgeous. It was only at about 25% occupancy. We were seated immediately but waited 5 - 10 minutes & were never even approached for drink orders or anything after being seated by the hostess. We waited long enough that we had already figured out what we wanted to drink & eat, yet no one ever came. It is a beautiful restaurant. Sad that we didn't get to experience it on our last night of vacation.

We haven't been here for a while. Took another couple with us. Ambiance is nice. Wasn't crowded for a weekend. Food was average. My “medium” steak request was rare. My wife ordered a vodka / soda that was all water. Service was below par - I finally had to go find our server to get her to come back for our order. Overall kinda disappointing for the $425 we spent.

WOW! If you haven’t been to open range, I 100% recommend. The food is so fresh and the crew is awesome! Parker went above and beyond to really make us feel special! I don’t come to Montana often, but if you’re in town this is where you want to be. Also, our server Bryson (who is also in usually in the kitchen) really knew his stuff and gave us a great laugh! Overall 10/10 experience and I will be returning very soon!
