Haven't been in the ROCK N R for 30 years. It was really nice. But I prefer the old R bar

Started hitting the R Bar in 1982 on ski trips from EWU. Pre-Fire. Cowboy dive bar. Chick central. Bought a pink corduroy R Bar hat with ear flaps. Before pink was cool. It kept getting stolen. I'd see it at Mt. Spokane. 49 Degrees North. Silver Mtn. Always on the head of school mates. Confiscate it. Lose it. Wish you made one again. Food is great. Drinks are grest. My 2nd favorite bar in Montana. R Bar always a must stop. Mint in Opheim is #1. Family owned.

Met my wife here a few years ago under the dancefloor moonlights with Lil Jon playing in the background, surrounded by intoxicated college kids and likely some underage kids. Food sucks and you'll wait 20 mins for a drink, but there's a chance you'll meet the love of your life, so it's worth a shot I suppose.

The habit is fine but I recommend putting on more Latin music since most people are Latinas and they only play music in English and it's a little boring

I live in Charleston, SC. Bozeman was my first time in Montana during July’24. I loved everything about Bozeman. I’m a professional drinker and the Rocking R surely fit my pistol. I wear the Rocking R hat proudly. Thanks for the memories.

I had the best time here so much so that I came back the next weekend. That wouldn't be a big thing except I'm on a road trip through the national parks LOL. I couldn't stop thinking about how much fun I had and the great people I met. So, I made sure to hit it up before heading home to Oregon. It reminded me of Oregon before the mass migration and Covid hit. Made me wanna move.

This was our first time in Bozeman it was a stop on our way to Yellowstone Park. We chose a table outside because the weather was perfect and so was the food! The staff was great and the food was farm to table fresh!

Left a post on Hail Mary's profile as they provide the food at Rocking R Bar but the bartender/servers are employed by Rocking R Bar. The worst customer service in Bozeman, MT.

Good atmosphere with the open garage doors and plenty of tables to play pool. It's your classic sports bar with a Bozeman twist. Plenty of TVs to watch the games. The nachos and wings were very good.
