Sidewinders American Grill

When Sidewinders first opened it was a great restaurant. But as time has gone on, it has gotten worse and worse. They used to make their own food, but now, most of it is pre-processed garbage. They even over salt the fake mashed potatoes to cover up the instant taste. When they first opened, they hand made the Chicken Fried Steak. Now, it’s the factory processed junk.

Another major issue, food delivery. At a REAL restaurant, they bring the salad out first, giving you time to eat it. Then bring out the entrée. Not Sidewinders, you get both at the same time. So, eat the salad and have a cold entrée, or eat the entrée and have warm salad.

My sister who comes to town frequently and prefers to eat at local establishments doesn’t want to eat at Sidewinders any more. She also indicates that it has gone downhill greatly since they first opened.

Maybe they should also clean the building once in a while. Just don’t look up. The rafters haven’t been cleaned since the building was built. I saw at least an inch of dust and crap on the rafters/beams. Sure hope that doesn’t fall onto your food.

Came hungry with high expectations on the food and left with happy fulll bellies. Chicken pot pie is unsurpassed with a huge portion full of chicken. The homemade stuffed pretzel is another don’t miss item on the menu. We topped it off with the apple tart with ice cream. Everything was incredible and the service was just exemplary on a busy night with Abbey. Don’t miss out on this Bozeman icon.

Not too crowded on a Tuesday for lunch. Very friendly and prompt service. The quac and chips were both fresh. The sandwiches and burgers were very well prepared. Thanks y’all.

I got the rib eye I couldn't eat it all fat. Sides where good.

Went here with my fiancé and were told to seat ourselves which we did. We had sat down for 15 minutes and no one once came to our table to see if we needed anything but a group of girls sat next to us and were waited on almost immediately. The guy at the bar clearly ignored us. I hope the guy wasn’t ignoring us because my fiancé is colored or that he found the girls attractive and intentionally ignored us. We got up and left. The food isn’t good enough to sit through that again. We won’t ever be coming back.

Service and Atmosphere was fascinating. However as a “Health Restaurant” promoting use of beef tallow I am disappointed that there is no nutritional information available to customers. The use of beef tallow is for customer health then nutrition should be available. Disappointed to say the least.

This place had really good food. They assisted us with our 8 person party when we didnt like our original seating. I ordered 6 wing and fries. 13$ . Thats awsum!. I will definitly return if Im back in the area.

Very lively and large sports bar, themed with American military decor, plus a nice big bar + fireplace. Best chicken pot pie we've ever had, anywhere. Bison burger & french onion soup were very good as well. The mac n cheese was mid. Good service. We'll definitely be back!
