We rarely eat out as we both like to cook and enjoy exploring new recipes. For our anniversary we like to try a different local eatery each year and this year's pick was Squire House. The reviews we read were strong and we were not disappointed in any way. The service was outstanding with lots of personal attention from our server, Molly, as well as the manager. We were encouraged to take as much time as we liked to enjoy the drinks, food and relaxing ambience. The drinks were original takes on classics, the french onion soup was clearly scratch made and ceasar salad was dressed just right. The Elk Bolognese and the short ribs were absolutely delicious! All at a reasonable price, unlike so many local restaurants in downtown Bozeman. We look forward to visiting Squire House again!!!

The Squire House was a little sleepy on. Wednesday night at 8pm, but it led to some very nice personal service. Maddie, the bartender and a gentleman who gave off owner/manager vibes, greeted and treated us well. We dined on some delicious Elk Bolognese and boneless Short Rib. I tried the Bozeman, a Manhattan/Old Fashioned mix, and for dessert a couple fingers of Aberlour. A very nice bar to sit at, as well as I door and outdoor seating. Worth a stop.

Great food & staff & the beignets are fabulous! Three different seating areas-main room, nice outdoor seating & my favorite is the bar/lounge. It's not huge, but I like that. Only reason for the 4* Atmosphere rating is the A/C can be a little uncomfortable. It's not on constantly & not the temperature, more the air flow when it is on. All in all, my kind of place!

Excellent in every aspect. We had a later dinner here and basically had the place to ourselves. It was quiet and very relaxing. The staff were extremely friendly and personable. The food was some of the best we’ve ever had. The Elk burgers and sprouts were Devine. We can’t wait to come back next time we are in town. Thank you!
Waited a while to even get our waters filled, mussels came out closed (which means they were dead before they were cooked), and I think I could’ve made a better carbonara at my house.

Welcoming friendly staff the manager Michael came over and spent a while telling us about the area when our food arrived it was perfectly cooked and flavorful and when dinner was finished we learned we had complimentary beignets for dessert which were amazing. Highly recommend Squire House

A hidden gem in Bozeman, the food at atmosphere was like no other! Very accessible from main street and not ridiculously overcrowded. Would 10/10 recommend for anyone looking for good dinner and drinks.

Michael is running an excellent establishment! Very knowledgeable about some other gems in the area. We loved his food and recommendations so much we had to go back again for Monday Martini Night! 10/10 food and service.

Kid-friendliness: People are very nice, and talkative, with great service. The food is more delicious than I read on the menu. All the food was cooked perfectly. My entire family loved the squire house, and would love to eat there again. The bathroom was also very nice lots of toiletries, and room. I am speaking for my whole family when I say I recommend the squire house in Bozeman Montana.
