Bao buns are quite good but the ramen is just decent, and both are quite pricy for the portion size. The staff are very friendly and the atmosphere is nice but the music is far too loud.

This was the second time I have been to Tanoshii. The first time I left wondering when I could have the pork ramen again. It was as good today as it was my first time, maybe even better. Service is amazing, and chill. All of our dishes were incredible. Thank you so much ❤️Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible with lower table to accommodate

The highest quality food and service in Bozeman. The entire Tanoshii crew will make you feel at home and are so knowledgeable if you have any menu questions! Try their weekly specials when you stop in! Hayden, Chase, Tim, Sam, David and the whole crew are all outstanding!!

Excellent food and great service. Made a reservation, and I ordered the chicken ramen which is the BEST ramen I've had in Bozeman. The pork bao buns were also DELICIOUS!We were, however, positioned right next to the door/window, which provided GREAT people-watching, but it was so cold that night that I could feel it through the window. It was very busy, so it's not like we could've moved elsewhere.Overall, would definitely recommend and go back, but I'd also get takeout from here in the future.

I absolutely love this place! One of my favorite things in Bozeman for sure, and it’s super reasonably priced. These little pork buns are to die for!

Ramens (pork, vegetable and chicken) were really underwhelming, lacking any sort of umami flavor. There also wasn't much in the way of added vegetables, so it was kind of just disappointing noodles. Had to add soy sauce and chili oil to get it anywhere worth eating :(

I was really looking forward to some Japanese food during this rainy evening. The place has a nice layout and decorations, and the service was good. Unfortunately, the food is not close to the Japanese style I'm used to. Pork ramen was sweet for my taste. It's very similar to a Filipino entree and would've partnered well with rice. Okonomiyaki is waffle style so it's a bit hard to bite into. Mochi donut was soft inside and golden fried outside. Unsure if it's meant to taste grainy inside. I thought cooked mochi is supposed to taste smooth. I liked the Agedashi. It was nice and crispy on all sides.Be advised that if you sit by the bar, your clothes will smell like the kitchen. Also, the music was a bit too loud, unless that's the vibe the restaurant is going for.Interesting concept for Bozeman, but not my cup of tea.

We stopped in on a Tuesday evening after the farmers market to get a noodle bowl. We also tried their Brussel sprouts appetizer, which was absolutely amazing, some of the best I’ve ever had. The noodle bowl was delicious as well. They use a local artist for some of their serving ware, really nice establishment.

We loved our meal at Tanoshii. The food was delicious and our server was fantastic. I would definitely recommend it!

I love a place that gives vegetables the love and attention they deserve. The food, mushrooms, dolmas, and okonomiyaki all were outstanding. Lots of crunchy toppings, and sauces mmm mmm. Nothing to complain about the service, and the casual ambiance in a smallish space is a relaxing Japanese vibe. I rarely give 5 stars so this place is definitely recommended!

Can't wait to go back! Highly recommend sitting at the bar and ordering a few shared plates. Brussel Sprouts and bao buns were some of the best I've had!

Poor recipes paired with good service and a cliche environment.I have nothing bad to say about the staff. It's just a shame that they have to execute some really depressing recipes.Overpriced, boring recipes, but nice staff. If you're looking for a nice bowl of ramen, look elsewhere.
