Had an excellent experience with Corinne today at Valhalla! Very knowledgeable and excellent at suggesting what I would like! We're here on vacation for our 16th anniversary from Florida and it was definitely one of the highlights of our trip!

Absolutely the best in the state.

This place keeps raising the bar and they started high to begin with. Loved the Thor Loco mead, the salmon chowder was perfectly balanced, and I couldn't resist taking home a bottle of the Sweet Earl Grey mead. Bonus points for the live music I stumbled into in the rotation of events. I've loved the experience here both in a large group and as a solo adventure!

In my whole life i didn't really like chowder. It was too runny and too sweet. I thought I'd give chowder one mor go.

As carry-out, it should reheat without much damage.

The Smoked Salmon Chowder is great.

So good, I have a new favorite food. The bread was equally good and the leftovers did reheat without damage.

Delicious mead, AllFathers was so sweet. Mead has become our new go to beverage, over all other alcoholic beverages, and Valhalla has our full attention.
Great energy within the establishment, and the owners provide great options for the food menu.

A must-visit if you’re in the area!
We tried several different meads and every single one was amazing—there truly wasn’t a bad sip in the bunch. The menu is well-organized and easy to navigate, and we loved that you’re encouraged to mix meads to create your own unique flavor combos.

We also ordered the Swedish meatballs and they were absolutely delicious. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and the bread (sourced from a local bakery!) was perfect for soaking up every last drop.

The atmosphere is laid-back and welcoming—perfect for relaxing and enjoying great drinks and even better company. The staff was incredibly sweet and helpful, and I really appreciated the local touches like artwork available for purchase from nearby artists.

We stopped in after spending time at Fairy Lake, and this spot made for the perfect end to a Montana day. It was my first visit, but my brother and sister-in-law are locals and say it’s one of their favorite hangouts—I can definitely see why.

Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. Don’t miss it!

This place has really great mead and food! I stopped here with my dog after taking him to Snowfill recreation area. They allow dogs on the patio. I had a great salmon chowder and a salad. They have exciting mead flavors ranging from sweet to dry.

Best salmon chowder ever. I like that it's not too loud during the day. They let you sample the mead before ordering a glass, and the bartender is quite nice. Not a pretentious place at all, and it's quite cozy inside. I'm not a bar person, but I like it there. Great mead selection.

Looking for a unique place to get a drink? Valhalla offers mead, an ancient alcohol derived from fermenting honey and water. Valhalla has great mead and I really loved their Salmon Chowder. The staff are also amazing.

Valhalla is what a meadery should be. A variety of meads from sweet to dry with tantalizing flavor profiles, served by friendly folks who know their meads. I’ve visited two dozen meaderies across the US and this is among the best. Even got to meet one of the owners, Dylan. Relax and enjoy sipping.
