Wasabi Japanese Steak House

Took my extended family here for my son’s birthday. Service was slow but whatever for a party of 9. Then shit got bad. Server charged my card for a whole different table. Got a sorry but here is your $400 check. Didn’t provide detailed receipt or anything. Benson was manager, then found he is allegedly the new owner. Said too bad, it is what it is, you will get this voided maybe 2-3 days. No attempts to make it right, total jerk. Try was even ruder to my sister. This is unbelievable. Do not recommend. Too bad this place took such a bad turn. Did some research and looks like this type of thing has happened here before.

Fun little spot for Asian food and sushi. Some of the rolls were a little smaller than expected but the flavor was great.

Terrible experience. Not the entertainment experience you expect with hibachi, and eware 18% gratuity for parties of FOUR or more. The service was mediocre at best. Expressed my concerns to Ben, who stated he was the manager. He didn’t care about the customer experience at all. I don’t see how a place like this can even stay in business.

Severely overpriced for basic food. Would not seat us on the hibachi side. Ordered steak and shrimp. Got 8 shrimp and 2oz of steak. Ordered a beer and she just brought me a bottle. No glass. Servers don't care food is poor to mediocre.

Great lunch prices and good service. Dinner prices are a pretty big increase, and the super tight lunch hours are a pain point.

I'm no sushi snob, but the inside-out rolls here are exactly what I'm looking for.

Also not blaming the staff, but the fake bamboo near the hightops are super dusty and gross. I imagine those things are impossible to clean. I'd prefer they were just removed, or at least the cloth leaves which collect all the dust were gone. Management should get rid of that.

Their website and menu online and in person says they’re open for Hibachi lunch starting at 11:00am. We got there shortly after 11:00am and were told they do not offer Hibachi for lunch. Will not be coming back

I get their salmon lover platter to go frequently and really love it! Been going for years. Would highly recommend

Great food and a really friendly staff. If you like Japanese food and are in Bozeman, check this place out. You won't be disappointed.

Hibachi chef gave almost twice as much steak to the others at the table for some reason. Our waitress switched out with another during our dinner and the new waitress forgot to bring our sushi rolls completely until we reminded her. Great potential at this restaurant, but unfortunately, not a very good first experience.

Delicious Volcano Sushi and Tempura roll. recommended.

this place is such a great atmosphere to have dinner, great quality tasting meals and very cool to watch the cook make everything in front of you!!

We went to Wasabi for lunch and was not disappointed. I've had sushi from all over the USA and other countries and Wasabi is in the top 3.
