We were really rooting for this place. It is so cute and charming. Our server was fantastic, with a great personality. Unfortunately, the food was so bad that I have to give this a one star. They seem to be famous for their chicken fried steak, but it was a disaster. It was thick and chewy and lacked flavor. Chicken fried steak should be pounded flat because it is made from a very cheap cut of meat that will not get tender when it is thick. The gravy brought nothing to the party. My oldest son is a fiend for biscuits and gravy, but his was mediocre at best. Below average biscuit covered in the same gluey, bland gravy as my chicken fried steak.Worst of all, my middle son received the worst excuse for French toast that I have ever seen. It was bizarre. Somehow they managed to put a thin coating of egg around white bread without any of the egg soaking into the bread. I’ve never seen anything like it. See attached picture. It was also completely flavorless. He ended up sharing some of my youngest son’s pancakes, which were average at best.My wife ordered huevos rancheros, which she said were OK, but to me, they looked like the most inauthentic, Americanized version possible.Breakfast should be one of the easiest meals to cook at least a decent version of. It felt like this place went way out of their way to make terrible terrible food.I am guessing this place has been around for a long time, and is a local favorite, and I wish them well But for your sake, I implore you to try one of the other wonderful breakfast spots in Bozeman.

Bozeman classic and dependable breakfast spot. Traditional diner style breakfast and food, big portions and reasonable prices. Hard to go wrong with much on the menu from the chicken fried steak to the plate sized pancakes (much better than the french toast)- also worth mentioning the oatmeal is in fact good despite being an atypical option.

This is a country styled diner reminiscent of the old town diners that used to dot the small towns in the West. The staff are friendly and helpful. He food is good with generous portions. The pricing is in the higher side, but still fair priced.

Reminds me of the Coffee Pot back in Littleton, NH. Which has people at the counter crushed together. $15 for breakfast and I want a little elbow room. Food is good, but it's breakfast.
