I’m heartbroken to say that The Zebra Club is no longer the beloved local gem it once was. This used to be my favorite bar — a place where community and character mattered. Sadly, the ownership has made some baffling and frankly disrespectful changes that have gutted the soul of the place.
Gone are the cherished Polaroids of bartenders and regulars that gave the bar its sense of history and belonging. Those photos weren’t just decor — they were a living, growing scrapbook of our community. Erasing them feels like erasing us.
Even worse, the dedicated TV that only played Bob Ross episodes — a quirky, comforting staple that set the vibe — has been replaced. Bob Ross brought calm, creativity, and a quiet kind of joy to the bar. It was unique, and it mattered.
Now, the Zebra feels generic — like any other bar trying to be something it’s not. What made it special has been stripped away. I miss the warmth. I miss the weirdness. I miss the heart.
Bring back the Polaroids. Bring back Bob Ross. Bring back what made the Zebra Club ours.

I love the Zebra. At 28 years old, and as a born and raised Bozemanite, I feel I have a right and duty as a member of this community to make a public statement which simply states this: the loss of the Bob Ross television in the southern corner of the bar will be a serious detriment to the atmosphere as a whole. I love the techno/electronic music and will stop in every now and then as I feel so inclined, but until the television is replaced, I will frequent much less. And I can only speak for myself. I can only hope there are members of the community who feel similar. I would rate the Zebra 5/5, but they took away my durnken Bob Ross.

Bartenders are amazing honestly couldn't ask for more!! But what happened to my Bob Ross and all the cool decorations??? Would give 5 but need more life

I personally miss the old zebra lounge, the old grunge style really made the place, now theyve gone for a “posh” style bar club, with the old stage space being used for poker and slot machines while the live music is now crammed next to the bar… staff has always been friendly aside from some poker dealers, however I think theyre hired through a different company. Not a bad spot if you didn’t know it beforehand… it was like Bozeman’s CBGB, now just a memory

No food for the EDM events but gave 5 stars since they shouldn’t lose rating points for not having food when I’ve attended.

Although a cool venue and fun amenities, this bar is not LGBT friendly. Policies are being unevenly enforced based upon sexual orientation. If you are part of the LGBT community I would recommend a different bar.

They refused to let my designated driver into the venue and he was sober the entire night. I’m truly disappointed in the lack of professionalism and respect for their patrons

Everything was so good until some girl came in to the restrooms and slammed my sister’s head into the wall for no reason. Her name was Tess and claimed she worked at at the bar but had no intent to be there

Music is good but $9.50 for a corona even u paying for casino and no machine are played sucks money and alot underage crowd l, even a bar never been charred this much kinda disappointed my maps recommended this
