I really miss the old Zebra! It really sucks that they leave the lights on in this place until late. They need to shut the lights off and let the lasers and stage lights take over at like 830 or whenever an artists start playing. I bet this place would fill up every time if it stopped being a little kid show with the lights on everywhere all the time. I know a lot of us don’t go there because of that. I’m gonna try it again this weekend, but we’ll see.
I personally miss the old zebra lounge, the old grunge style really made the place, now theyve gone for a “posh” style bar club, with the old stage space being used for poker and slot machines while the live music is now crammed next to the bar… staff has always been friendly aside from some poker dealers, however I think theyre hired through a different company. Not a bad spot if you didn’t know it beforehand… it was like Bozeman’s CBGB, now just a memory
The place used to be magic, now it's just another bar with gaming machines and rude staff that treat you like an inconvenience. The new owners really took a golden goose and turned it into a regular duck and then had the audacity to call this place the golden zebra.
