I’ve ordered a burger with sweet potato fries. The burger has a name but for the life of me I can’t recall it. The burger was stacked with bacon, jalapeños, cheese , lettuce, tomato and onions (some toppings are optional) the sweet potato fries were cooked to perfection and I didn’t leave too much food in the basket once I started eating. The atmosphere is welcoming, I didn’t wait too long for the food and my server was exceptional. The price is good and evidently their pizza is amazing so I may try that next time around. I would recommend this restaurant when in the Choteau area.

My hunting buddies and I have made this a regular stop on our way out of the area after our annual hunting trip. From a tourist point of view, this is classic small-town Montana. The mood, the lighting, the decor, the music, the emergency scanner broadcasting the local fire department heading out on a call...I remember commenting to my friends, "This doesn't look like the kind of place one orders a salad." If you like your food meaty and/or fried, this is also the place for you. Great burgers, steaks, etc. Also, if you're wondering, "gems" are just tater tots.

This was the only restaurant open when we arrived in Choteau so didn't have much choice. However it's actually a great spot for a casual dinner anyway. Plus it's just a two block walk from the B&B where we were staying. The mid size dining room had a variety of seating options - small and large booths, high tables etc. Had burger and salad with salmon. Both were delicious and price was the most reasonable we'd seen on this trip.

Awesome burger and soup. Top notch food and you don't have to sell a kidney to afford it.

We waited 1 hour for our food. When it arrived, we were beyond disappointed. The salad consisted of 2 baby carrots, slice of red onion, slice of green peppers, and beets. The steak on the steak salad was cold and not flavorful. Overall, I have had a better salad from a bag at the grocery store.

We were pleasantly surprised with the wide menu, food quality & reasonable prices! Driving through town with two young kids on off hours (weekday lunch), we expected basic frozen food items- but they had so many side choices, a kids menu, beer and the actual best French dip sandwich! The historic photos on the walls were very cool as well. Highly recommend it.Kid-friendliness: Kids manu, coloring page & crayons
