Was in Choteau to celebrate a wedding with some friends and we decided to stop in The Livery for some drinks. The night started out good, with a great atmosphere and cold beer; but things went south after one of my friends tried to buy another round for all 11 of us. The bartender “Bo” snapped at us and said “i’m not your babysitter” - and at this point was almost too inebriated to stand. Bo then told us how we all tipped poorly which was completely untrue - we were tipping >30% the entire night. He (drunkenly) forced us out of the bar and locked the door - the drunk bastard probably just wanted to sleep! (However it was an hour before their posted closing time). This experience turned me off so much that it has led me to write this negative review.

Friendly and welcoming staff from the hotel to the attached saloon. We had a large room with 2 queen beds and a couch. It was a great place to stay between Yellowstone and Glacier National Parks! We hope to return to this part of the country and stay again someday!
Nice bar, nice people
We stayed here for 2 weeks while visiting family and friends. Would recommend this place. Comfortable beds, nice breakfast, the pool was fabulous to help entertain children. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We stay here everytime we visit family in the area. Cathy the manager is a true delight.
Nice little bar, but it's located in a hotel and gets a bunch of traffic
Good service and very nice people thanks ?
For the second year in a row my friends and I had a reunion in Choteau at the Stage Stop Inn. We chose it because of all the amenities: the nice variety of rooms(we had a double and a suite with a connecting room), the swimming pool, the friendly staff, and the reasonable rates. There is a connecting lounge which we enjoyed in the evenings and good casual dining in Choteau. We highly recommend the Stage Stop.
Love this bar. Rustic, beautiful, perfect place to wind down after a long day. Great company and great drinks too!
Great venue for weddings

The suites are awesome for larger families. Lots of space, comfortable beds, super clean, 2 tvs, great breakfast. Even has a laundry if you need it. 2 1/2 hours from West Glacier entrance. John Henry Cafe in town is a great place for lunch or dinner.
My room was very nice and the amenities are very nice. Very typical of all hotels not to allow smoking in your room which I agree with. I did not appreciate the fact that they charged me $250.00 for smoking in the designated smoking area outside. No wonder the area was so nice - they collected enough money to make it as such. I do not recommend the dishonest hotel.
Just spent 4 nights there as part of a photography workshop. This is a great hotel in a wonderful little town. The staff were friendly, the rooms updated and clean, and the overall stay was exceptional. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
The outside of this place is deceiving! Inside is a n immaculate hotel with a western decor. Our Kind sized bedroom included a lazy boy style chair as well as the usual amenities…tv, free wifi, shampoo etc. there is a lovely reading area in the lobby and an indoor heated pool! The free breakfast includes homemade breakfast sandwiches! Delicious! Knowledgeable, friendly staff.
Small quiet place to grab a bite to eat from a limited menu and also your favorite alcoholic drink. Live poker game on Wednesdays with dealer. Enjoyed watching the locals play poker.
