Wooden Nickel is a restaurant with a nice view at the back park. The service can be slow due to being short-staffed, but the waitress was friendly. The cheese and pepperoni pizza, cheese sticks, and fried pickles were tasty, although the marinara sauce was cold. There was a rude customer bothering others. The burgers are delicious, but the service can be lacking. Under new ownership, the restaurant has maintained its great food with added menu items. The place is clean with new TVs for sports. It is kid-friendly with a good kids menu and drinks. Overall, Wooden Nickel offers good food despite occasional service issues and rude customers.
