Used to have The Best chicken dinner. The last 4 times it seems overcooked. Crunchy outside and almost dry inside. Bummer. Not going back.

What happened Chubbys?? We’ve been going here for years now and went to get a burger tonight and they’ve changed the burgers and fries. It wasn’t for the better either. They don’t use real bacon but bacon bites now and the grilled chicken sandwich was a tiny poor quality piece of meat. The service was good and the waitress was very attentive. Come on chubbys we love supporting local establishments but this was bad quality food.

I only had to go in there just to use the washroom there so I walked in silently and did not talk to anybody as I was going in so I went in silently to go use the washroom and then I walked myself back out again after I was done and this was over a year and 1 month ago then!

Went to Chubbys for a birthday dinner. I was craving steak and was not disappointed. The New York Steak with Shrimp was very good. The sides were mushrooms, baked potato and corn. With salad and bun. The three shrimp were steamed and served with butter. Nice sized and pretty good for Montana. This has probably ruined me for the other restaurants in Helena that serve steaks. Friday & Saturday they do a prime rib, which 3 of our party had. The servings were huge and not over priced. Too full for dessert. They do need to update the menu photos online, since they are out of date.

It's a rustic place. Local bar with a casino area. There are dining tables in the back where families can dine. The steaks are the real deal.

Had the steak dinner, did the extra $6 to share. Plenty for 2 people. Was very good! Done just right and had a great taste.
Waited to long to get seated with open tables no one in front of. Poor service very noisy waited over an hr to get our meal and when we got one of our baked potatoes was rotten inside had to send it back. Was charged over$70 for two meals plate of appetisers and 1 drink . Whole time there never asked if we wanted our Water refilled. Thought it to expensive for service and noise.

Good to very good food, staff are friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere is like small-town friendly, like an old west watering hole. Upgrade might be good, but something would be lost at the same time.
