My family is in Montana from Oregon with our horses. One had an emergency and we were able to meet a mobile vet, which apparently ended up being on property on the side of the road owned by this campground, which was unknown to us. A gentleman from the campground came out screaming to get off their property immediately or he would shoot them. He didn’t ask them to leave, he threatened to shoot my family, which included a 16yr old and an infant. Just be aware if you are visiting, this is advertised as family friendly however I’d be cautious of someone who would threaten to shoot before asking questions or asking someone to move along.

Quiet, tidy campground with clean bathrooms and a great campground host. If you Forget wood or chairs or your lights on in the vehicle?? Pat will save the day, no drama. (Ask me how I know?. 😬🤣). We will go back!

We got to have two nights of car camping here. Pat, the campground host, was on top of all our needs. ❤️ He was so kind to bring us a couple chairs and some firewood. This was our first time in the area and we look forward to coming back next year. Thank you, Pat!!

I just wanted to leave a review because I felt so welcomed and cared for when I camped here. I was met by a very friendly man, Pat, who offered to help me find my campsite when I was lost, and helped me get what I needed and made sure to check in once a day to make sure everything was going well. Things like this really make the experience so much better:)

Cute, warm and friendly. Wonderful service - our truck broke down twice on our way there and Peter worked with me to change our date 2 times. Beautiful scenery all around. Highly recommend!

Pat is a great campsite host! He goes above and beyond what I expected to make sure everyone has everything they need. He's knowledgeable about the area, guides rigs into there campsites, and maintains the grounds very well.

We stayed here for two nights camping. The host was real friendly, in a good mood, and downright generous. The campsite itself was clean, plenty of room, and the showers and restrooms were in great shape too. We’d be glad to come back anytime.

Beautiful location, and expert accommodations! We didn’t have a spot that had a fire pit but they brought us a fire pit so we could make dinner! If I could give more than five stars I would! Would recommend to anyone! Will be back again!

Easy off/on the highway. Easy to navigate inside the park. Sites are close. Not easy to pull into or out of my site in a 45' coach with a toad. Had to disconnect.

Both camp hosts were helpful and friendly. Beautiful scenery around a quiet campground. Bath houses very clean! Laundry area very clean! B5 was a beautiful large site. Walk to Valley of the Moon fishing area under 2 miles. A small park with walking trails about 1/4 mile away. We would have stayed longer.

Unfortunately, in June, the campground was found to have E. coli in their water system, so they put in a temporary chlorine fix. when we were camping in the end of July, the water was deemed over chlorinated and still not fit to drink or wash dishes with. The campground did provide fresh drinking water. The negative was that the campground management did not notify me of this until the morning of our arrival. I was notified by phone and by email, that their water system was still under a health advisory.. as all of this began in June and was reevaluated at the end of June, it would’ve been nice to have been notified about this in time to make alternate reservations if that’s what we decided to do.

AMAZING! Don't question it... just go for it. We had such a great time. The rates are great. The people are friendly and there is plenty to do for the entire family! We were first time camp trailer owners and wanted to try it out. By luck, we found this place! Fly fishing, basketball, corn hole, volleyball, campfires and more in a cozy sey up. It was fun and quiet when it should be.
