Poor Henry's Bar Reviews
Had one of the finest prime rib dinners last night here. We dine here often and have noticed in the last year that this place is really kicking the food, service and drinks into high gear. The beef was sourced from Handley Meats locally and the 14 oz prime rib was perfection. One of the best we’ve ever had. My friends and I went there for dinner and a gab session! The service was let's just say very interesting, a lady started waiting on us then she disappeared! Some gentleman came over who I'm pretty sure was half in the bag and my friend saw him drinking behind the bar! We got appetizers the mushrooms were good, the onion rings were way over cooked! Poor Henry's Bar is a welcoming dive bar, known for its great service and personable staff. The menu offers a variety of food, including a daily special and a popular item called Henry's Choice pizza. The drinks are consistently good, and the employees are friendly. The atmosphere is cozy, and they allow well-behaved dogs inside. Recent visitors praised the outstanding food and service, with one noting the bacon cheeseburger as one of the best they had in a while, and another saying their French dip was just as good. The food is delicious and reasonably priced, with generous portions like the meatloaf and steak of the day. The bar has maintained its small-town charm since the late 90s and is considered a best-kept secret along I-90. It features a full-size bar, ample seating including high and low tables, and a full game room with darts and a pool table in a separate, quiet area. The atmosphere is laid-back and comfortable, making it a great spot for a casual meal or drink.
