We had the papa burger with fries and the mushroom burger with onion rings. Plus root beer floats. Everything was great.

Really good food. Front counter stuff was very friendly. We dined in and the restaurant was nice and quiet while we ate. Overall, the Restaurant was rather clean. The bathrooms could have been touched up. Women’s bathroom is single use at a time.

The two times I've eaten here, I got food poisoning both times. Once in 2017 and again in 2023. It was bad. I ordered the double bacon cheeseburger both times. I have been there since, but only to get rootbeer floats and ice cream cones.

Coney Dog or Chili Dog with mustard & onions & ultra fresh bun, Wow ! Portions were excellent. That & a Root Beer was less than $5 . Where can you go for a meal and a drink less than $5
I dined in. Look around. You will see old jukebox and other nostalgia. It's hanging everywhere. Even the room lights are old fashioned. As soon as I walk in the door I was greeted. Warmly, and I had my complete meal in about 5 minutes. Outside there is plenty of parking. It's easy in easy out. They accept cash, credit or debit.

First off, food. 11/10 this was %100 the best root beer float that has ever graced my lips.
Second, service. A full high five of stars. The employee serving us cooked as much as Nike did making her custom A&W dunks. So steezy
Last but not least, atmosphere. With stained glass lanterns over the booths, old times juke box, and an icee mug of root beer you are transported back into the Wild West of fast food. I’d give ten stars if that was an option.
Come here if you want to change the way you think about a restaurant.

The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful! There was an issue with my order tonight. The young man at the window was apologetic and he went above and beyond in remedying the situation. Unfortunately I didn’t catch his name, but I hope management is able to recognize him for his great work!

Found this hidden gem on a trip up to the mountains. Stopped in and was immediately greeted with a smile and pleasantly surprised by the tasteful decor. The Spicy Poppa Burger though intimidating at first, delivered quite the flavorful punch. The main attraction, the root beer float, satisfied until the last sip. Great blend of local food and hospitality. Would be back again!
