There is NO better food in the Flathead Valley than this unsuspecting gem. And now that the chicken sandwich is rightfully back on the menu - hopefully to stay - this place is a 6 stars out of 5. On the first day of COVID lockdown, we drove 2.5 hrs from Missoula just to get the chix sandwich from their takeout window. It’s that good. And if you upgrade to Garlic Parmesan fries your life will be changed forever.
This place has really gone downhill since the last time I visited in 2023. I was really hyped to eat here again because the first time left me completely satiated, but this visit was a major disappointment. The menu has changed and now includes odd menu items that clearly don't jive. For example, I got a rice bowl that had pickles... who does that? Flavor combinations are off, quality has diminished, prices have increased.
Excellent food, beer, and atmosphere in Columbia Falls! Schwarma on pita was so flavorful, as was the bistro burger. Large portions, but we had no problem with that after hiking all day! Our server was Jamie, so attentive and kind!
