What a cool historic spot that delivered on the best meal I have had in months! Will go there every time I am in the area!

We ate outside because it was loud inside. The waitress Juliet was perfect. The food was very good. The price point is a little high with the special of duck being $45 a plate. I still would recommend it.

The food just wasn't very good. We had the mussels which were huge and overcooked. The broth was good, but the mussels were very chewy. I had the tortellini with a meatball for my main. It was a large portion, but was pretty bland. My husband had the filet and that was the best thing we ordered. It was done medium rare which he requested. Our server, who's name I can't remember...she was from New York...was very good. Attentive and timely.

While the food was fresh and properly prepared, the overall dining experience was disappointing. Service was average, and the noise level was completely out of character for a high end restaurant. It was impossible to have a private and quiet conversation with your guest. Fairly expensive for what was delivered. I expected more.

We have been a number of years in row. Sadly, even though the dining room was not very full, our food took a VERY long time to come out.........we arrived at 7 and didn't get out of there until 9. Nice waitress, but poor service and it was very warm in there.

Kort was wonderful last night, we had a terrific experience and really enjoyed the food and drinks!

Belton Chalet's restaurant is a must-do for us every time we visit Glacier National Park. We were a party of 6 on this visit. They gladly accommodated our request to be served by Kort, who had been wonderful 2 nights before when we'd stopped in for just cocktails and appetizers. She was an outstanding server, so friendly, with excellent menu recommendations and she bent over backwards to meet our special requests. The food was fabulous, from appetizer mussels to steaks to pasta and seafood. Go there!

A great dinner in a beautiful location. We sat outside so noise level was irrelevant. The mussels as an appetizer was especially good. The Caesar salad was certainly enough to split before and the anchovies were great! What really made the dinner was our waiter Brian. What a terrific, pleasant, interesting guy! Everything was outstanding and it was a great end to our week in Glacier!

Great experience. The baguette and bison meatballs were delicious starters. The filet was cooked perfectly. The huckleberry margarita was refreshing and very good. Brian was a friendly and great server.

Best Ribeye and Filet my wife and I can remember having in recent memory. Meghan, our server, was exceptional! Highly recommend the stop when you’re in the glacier Park area. You will not be disappointed. One area of improvement. Is the purée potatoes… Seriously?!… Give me some good old-fashioned mashed potatoes with lumps!

The food was unbelievably delicious and innovative. This was one of the best meals I've ever had.

DO NOT RECOMMEND. We went for supper and had a reservation for 5:30. We walked in and requested a table by the fireplace or a window as a second choice. We were told by phone it wouldn’t be an issue.

When we arrived, we were told they were full so, we had a table close to the entrance door which, was left wide opened for 30 mins making it very cold.

We sat there and had our supper whilst looking at empty tables by the windows the entire time. The food was not high quality, canned vegetable in the over seasoned risotto and overcooked halibut served too late and was cold. The bison meatloaf was burned on the outside and the russet potatoes were undercooked and hard to bite though.

I told the server at the start that I was dairy intolerant and nothing came about it even when I ordered my dish. Let’s just say there was milk in it when he said dairy free afterwards.

All in all, I don’t recommend this place as it is overpriced for the food the my serve.

Great experience again on another visit to West Glacier Park on birthday week. The Steelhead Trout was excellent...

Awesome night! Kort was our waitress and she was fantastic! My chicken was delicious, but I think they should change the name “airline chicken as it was way better than airline chicken! Great night!!
