Let me start by saying my wife and I stumbled upon this bar/restaurant by accident and I am hesitant to leave this review because I really don't want others to know about our honey hole. It is truly a diamond in the rough. However, because of the unprecedented service we have been given over the past 18 months I feel obligated. The value this place offers in the valley is unbelievable. This is a Dive Bar through and through. It's far from fancy, and we love it! It's true Montana.....not for Hollywood elites. The drinks/beer are cold/ reasonably priced and the service is great. The main nighttime bartender Mike will throw you all the sarcasm you can handle but is a gentle giant.....and seconds as a Chef (more later). Megan is also a bartender who is very sweet and Johnny on the spot with service, and Jay is a daytime bartender who is a great guy and Johnny on the spot! It's like "Cheers" they all recognize you and are so welcoming. There are are other employees I just don't know them as well. Now the food..... Mike and his wife Andrea are highly trained chefs.....and it shows in their work. Let's start with Taco Tuesday, you better get there early because they pack a crowd.....because of the value. These are not Street tacos these are gourmet tacos seriously! And BIG! They are $4-$5 I'm a big guy and twos my limit sometimes three. Andrea puts out a vast number of tacos all while their son Aiden takes the orders. Now Sunday brunch, they have a variety of stuff that is fantastic but the BAB (Big A$$ Burrito) is the bomb. It's huge! Eggs, potatoes, sausage, bacon, cheese, sausage gravy wrapped in a huge tortilla $10 It's two meals for me. Dinner...hamburgers, pastrami other sandwiches fries onion rings etc. The best pastrami I have had in Montana all reasonable and large portions. Their quality is unsurpassed......

It was late in the evening. This fella needed some grub and a beer. Columbia Falls isn't Whitefish, we should all thank Jesus for that. This place checks all the marks on your dive bar criteria list. What makes it special? The couple running the kitchen are incredible. There won't be any hugs or exceptional niceties. If you're good enough to enjoy a cold Highlife, then you're gonna get along in this place. You could smell the flat grills (there's a couple of them) upon entering the front door. The food that was cooked on it rivaled anyone's favorite hometown grill. What did I order you ask? A burger....a Highlife. 1/2 pound of beef with a slice of cheese and all the fix'ns. Incredible food and incredible value. If you're subtle enough, savy enough, you might end up in good conversation with the staff. I'll be back there again someday.

Bought out by the new Kingpin. Can’t blame the owner for selling, but now our last real bar in town will be flipped by the rich developer who has taken over. He’s already shut down another bar to get the liquor license moved. Go quick, enjoy the real Montana but then avoid due to Rusch.
The tacos were probably the most disgusting tacos to be served. It took an hour to get our tacos and when we said something about the service we were rudely told it will get to us when it is our turn. Will never go to have tacos here

Best spot for food, drinks and socializing in town. Taco Tuesday, the Gyros and Eggs Benedict are all the best you’ll find in town. Drinks are also 1/3rd the price of any other bars here. Mike is the man and holds this place down, never met anyone who’s come through and had anything but positive things to say about their experience there or interactions with him.
