OMG. If you haven't tried their burgers, you're missing out. The double is huge. I travel to Kalispell often for work and kept driving past mudman. I won't be doing that anymore.

Seriously, the best burger I have ever had in 62 years. It was epic! So juicy, so delicious, with thick savory bacon on top, and the fries were exceptional as well. I had the "small" quarter pounder and it was more than enough; I was so stuffed I wouldn't have finished it if wasn't so doggone delicious. We were on a motorcycle tour and happened to ask a local at a gas station for a good place at which four hungry guys could get a good meal. Mudman was the local's top recommendation, so we hied ourselves 12 miles down the road to the joint. What a memorable treat it was! If you’re a burger fan, do not hesitate… make your way to the Mudman!

We ate breakfast at the Kalispell location yesterday morning, and dinner at the Columbia Falls location yesterday evening! Yup, it's that good!! The amazing breakfast sandwiches are just like homemade with buns made inhouse, thick sausage patties, real bacon, and have a sausage gravy inside that makes them sooooo good! We feel their hamburgers are the best we've ever had anywhere, bar none! They have fresh cut fries, buns made inhouse, thick patties and real bacon, fresh ingredients and a savory beanless chili con carne sauce inside the burger that sets this burger uniquely apart from the competition! The staff is wonderfully polite, friendly, and accommodating. The restaurant is CLEAN and has a wonderful atmosphere. We are truly impressed with how much this business gives back thru outreach and ministry to children in need all over the world. How blessed the Flathead Valley is to have Mike and Pam!Parking: Plenty of room at the Kalispell and Columbia Falls locations

From the outside this place doesn't look like much. They could use a little landscaping help... BUT the inside atmosphere, the food, and the service made up for it.The woman helping us out was a manager at the very least but maybe the owner? She was extremely friendly and explained the menu to us since we'd never been before. And I'm glad she did, because I had no idea what we were in for!This place basically does a fully loaded burger -- chili, bacon, cheese, special sauce -- as its standard. You can get the chili on the side, which I did, just in case you aren't sure. And, of course, you can take anything off the burger. It's kinda pricey if you DON'T want all those "add ons," but it's extremely reasonably priced compared to going to some other place and paying to add chili, bacon, and/or cheese.Fries were delicious. And, if you get the chili on the side like I did, you can dip your fries in it. :)Overall, it was a hell of a burger. Come with an appetite, that's for sure!

I am glad I don't live near this place. It is one of the best burger places I have been too in my 57 years. The 'mud' (beanless chili) was a different take on a burger but it was great. All the toppings were fresh - tomato, onion, and lettuce. As a bonus, hand cut fries that are crispy and seasoned.My wife and I bought some mud to go.With that mud they could expand their menu to include coney dogs.

A local place worth checking out. The mudman burger is different from most burgers I’ve had and delicious. I was worried the chili/sauce would make the burger soupy but it wasn’t.Lettuce wrap is a good gluten free option.Glad they have a drive through because the restaurant seems busy-a good sign.
