Total tourist trap restaurant, but it's to be expected right outside of Glacier. The food was ok, but really expensive. The huckleberry ice cream was good, though, and the bar attached to the restaurant was nice if you wanted a drink in the evening.

I would appreciate a substitute if there is an egg allergy for the salad, if you cannot do chicken as a protein substitute, add more carrots and cucumbers.. or the meal should cost l ss b cause you are not getting eggs.
Pretty good food at national park prices. Milk shakes are good and the burgers were better than fast food.

I've never submitted a bad review before but this place is buyer beware. We were overcharged, prompted 18% minimum gratuities for cafe style ordering. My wine tasted like pool water, food was bland leaving me with a stomach ache for 12 hours after. Location gets 3 stars but food/service needs work.

This is a cafeteria. We were overcharged for the items we ordered based on the published menu, prompted for an 18% minimum tip even though we came back up for food and cleared our table. Food was mediocre and the tap wine tasted like chlorine. Felt sick for 12 hours after. We had good expectations but were disappointed.
This place has fantastic food and great ice-cream. Huckleberry flavor, cinnamon honey and chocolate, which were all equally delicious.

The black bean burger was pretty good, and I truly appreciate the fact that they have vegan cheese and a vegan dressing on it. It would be nice to have a few more options though. There is a side of vegan baked beans that I didn’t try.
Pleased with our food. Bison burger was delicious, others had chicken club and grilled cheese. No complaints. Fries were good as well. A bit to expensive for what you get though. $20 for a bison burger and fries, add $4 for a fountain drink. It's overpriced. Food was good but value wasn't there. Would not return because of this.

We stopped here to have lunch before we went on a rafting trip. The lunch was really good and being able to sit outside and enjoy our food and drinks was delightful. We actually visited Freda's twice while we were in town for just a few days. Stop in and enjoy the food and drink as well as the weather on the patio!! On top of all of this - I left my purse, they found it and shipped it back to Texas to me!!! Thank you Heather!!!
The burger wasnt great!

Great place for a nice, no-frills meal. A little pricey but expected for a tourist based restaurant. Seating indoors or outdoors are both very nice. But best of all, in my opinion, are the fries on the side of every sandwich. If you like McDonald's shoe string style french fries (when they're fixed right... hot and salted properly, not soggy) these are BETTER!
They charge $11 for a slice of pie. $50 for a whole pie. A breakfast sandwich is $14. These prices are worse than NYC, Disney and CA. This business has been around since 1951 and should be totally paid off. It’s a cash cow for the owners and they pay their staff crappy minimum wage. NYC and CA minimum wages are higher and in MT the employees working for Fredas are making $10.50/hr aka the min wage and they charge the prices they charge. Shame on the greedy owners.
