Stop The Car Trading Post

We stopped twice while travelling up and down the beartooth highway. The first stop was for an ice cream which was 10/10. On our way back down we stopped for a coffee (I think about 5 minutes before they closed, but we were still welcomed in). The ice cream was great, really up there, but the coffee, I don't know what she did to the coffee but it was genuinely the best latte I've had...I know that's an odd thing to say really, how can a latte be that good, but it was. I didn't have one, but I imagine the milkshakes are very good given how good the ice cream was.

I had an amazing experience at Stop The Car Trading Post in Silver Gate! Incredibly friendly and went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed coke, ice cream or souvenirs

Stopped by here for some breakfast burritos and cappuccinos on our way to Yellowstone NP. The owners were very friendly and the food was great. Being from a border town in Texas, I was not sure about burritos on Montana, but they were amazing and filling. Please support these small local businesses. Highly recommend this place for gifts, souvenirs, and food.

Just outside the NE entrance to Yellowstone park. Great ice cream, shakes, smoothies, coffee, and and few items to buy like shirts and photos. Great place. Friendly people. Great old building.

This place is one of the last stops before the park. Always freindly people making the milk shakes. The strawberry cheesecake shake was great!

Definitely worth a stop if you’re passing through. Good selection of ice cream, generous portions and good varity. If you have time, you can check out the metal sculptures across the street.

The people here are so nice. We came opening day and stopped here, the ice cream was great. You get a lot for what you pay for. We also did some shopping and got some cool things. We will be back this summer. If you’re going through town definitely stop!
