Everything but the hashbrowns was ok. Those hashbrowns were the worst we have ever had.

Great breakfast restaurant! Very cozy with nice ambiance. Excellent service, food + coffee. Located just outside one of the parking entrances.

We stumbled on this great place for lunch when driving northeast out of Yellowstone.
For such a small, rustic, remote café the food was outstanding! My wife had one of the best burgers she's ever had and I had the Carne Asada Fries (sliced steak on top of fries) which was delicious! I'd highly recommend this place. The staff was very friendly as were their dogs!

Located right outside of the Yellowstone Northeast entrance. Had a very good lunch. Both the Chicken Salad sandwiches and the Trout dish were great. Service was excellent.

The Log Cabin Cafe is a hidden gem! We stumbled upon it by accident while driving through Lamar Valley (with no signal and Roosevelt Junction closed) and were so glad we did. The service was amazing, the atmosphere felt very homey, and the food was excellent — the cheeseburger and fries were especially tasty. Service was quick too. A wonderful little spot worth stopping at!

We ate lunch at the cafe and it was fabulous! Everyone there was sooo nice and accommodating. The food was so delicious! The mother of the son and daughter-in-law who do the food and run the cafe was extremely nice and friendly! We will be back and recommend this cute cafe with history!

Stopped in here after driving all morning in East Yellowstone. We stumbled upon it by accident, and was pleasantly surprised! The staff were all friendly and helpful. We had breakfast, everything was great! Drinks served in Mason jars, OJ seemed squeezed fresh. My son ordered Trout for breakfast and it was absolutely delicious! The staff was helpful in giving us directions to find moose in area. The inside is decorated nicely. Thanks for a great meal experience, one of the best overall in the 2 weeks in Yellowstone areas.

Stop at the Log Cabin Cafe on 08/22/25 for lunch. A very clean and charming cafe with exceptional good service. We ordered the homemade tomato soup and “the pull” on the grilled cheese sandwich - both which were worthy of being on the TV show Diners, Drive in’s and Dives or The Kitchen.

After spending the 2 previous days climbing Granite Peak, I had breakfast here in June 2025 and it was the best I’ve ever had, no exaggeration! I had giant pancakes with organic blueberries and real maple syrup, a thick slice of tasty ham, and the fresh squeezed orange juice was amazing too! The service was outstanding, they really know what they’re doing. I can’t wait to come back again with my family.

Best breakfast around. Atmosphere is wonderful with seating inside and out. Inside is bigger than you think and cozy. Food is delicious and the staff is very friendly and extremely competent. No question to eat breakfast here when you have the chance.
