Chef Michael is one of the best chefs in Western montana. His Friday and Saturday night Chef menue is amazing with portion size and flavor of all the dishes top notch. The fish specials are always fresh and the steaks are thick. Now that they have breakfast be sure and take the drive not only for a nice dinner, but skip the standard overpriced breakfast places in the Bitterroot.
If you want to ruin a good piece of meet by ordering it well done, you will be run out of town.

I heard about my parents going to the Little Blue Joint for dinner. They raved on and on about how welcoming the atmosphere was, the variety of the menu options, and the quality of the food they were served. They said, nearly every seat was taken in the newly renovated space and they look forward to going back again soon. This time I hope they take me with them!

Great people, fantastic grub, amazing prices, incredible experience.
This is the local place....iconic bar that serves food. It is noted for its pizza which we ordered which I thought was ok. Crust is thick and sauce was tangy not spicy which I prefer. Pizza cooked to perfection. Drinks were decent.

The cafe itself was being remodeled, but the bar next door is serving their reduced menu. Good food and beer. We particularly appreciated the home-made fries. My wife had a burger -- says it had a great homemade roll, not a wonderbread-style bun. Good sized portions. Very efficient and courteous server. It wasn't very noisy despite quite a few patrons there.
