I have eaten here on several occasions. Every time was with family. I have never had a meal that wasn't great, nor has anyone else in my parties. Overall, the food is excellent and the prices are amazing! For those of us that live in the Bitterroot, this places fells like home. For those visiting, I assure you this atmosphere is probabaly an example of why you came. This local unassuming gem will not disappoint you.
So so so delicious! We went down into Darby for breakfast this morning and had the lodging scramble (amazing), chocolate chip pancake, monkey bread, and coffee. The coffee was delicious not the typical burnt diner coffee. The monkey bread and chocolate chip pancake were so fluffy and delicious!Everything was so flavorful! Highly recommend stopping by this place if you’re passing through Darby!
This is a small place but the parking lot was full which I always take as a good sign. And this place is highly rated on Yelp. The decor is unique with corrugated metal on one wall. The menu looked good, but unfortunately for us the dishes we wanted weren't available. They were out of both the wild smoked salmon, spinach, and cream cheese scramble and the Lenny sandwich, which was disappointing. Apparently they don't serve soup on Saturday either. I will have to rate the food later as we've waited 45 minutes and are getting it to go as we have to be somewhere else at noon.
Owners are new to the area and their wildly outlandish claims show just how little they know about this small town. Claiming they saved the restaurant from becoming a "cathouse" is not based in reality and a complete insult to the community they pretend to be apart of. Real locals do not frequent this place. The entire town is looking forward to the delinquent tax sale. Unless they get bailed out by another go fund me.

We absolutely love coming here when we visit in Darby! This is our favorite place to have breakfast. Everything on the menu is delicious and perfectly cooked. The prices are very reasonable and the service is great. Just don't come here expecting to eat in a hurry - it's a family-ran business and the good food takes time.
Food was good. But took us over an hour to get our meal! Also it was very hot inside the restaurant. I wish they would run the AC.
