There were bits of old bacon and burger meat in the hash browns.Our server was friendly and quick. We left quickly after realizing how terrible the food was.Absolutely no vegan options here except for the side salad.

How can you justify 2 pancakes (not even brown; they were white), covered with black bits of charred stuff from the grill- $9.00? Mashed potatoes cold and toast done on one side only. The gravy for the chicken fried steak was under the steak instead of on top. The floors were dirty. When we were asked how everything was, we told the waitress, and she argued and failed to offer any discount. She never came back to our table to ask how our food was or offer drink refills.

This time, I had the philly cheese steak. The flavor was good, but there was more bread than meat & cheese. It was on the dry side, no Ajus. And it wasn't very filling. I'll chose different next visit...

Not going to lie. This was in no way worth the stop. Hash browns were rubbery was not a good situation.I didn't get my coffee till the end she put it in a Togo cup. The waitress was nice.

Great food, decent prices, best tomato soup anywhere. Good hours a day lots of parking and if you ask for extra whip on pies, you get it

We have been in the Deerlodge 4B's restaurant 3 times over the past year just for the tomato soup. Sad to say we were disappointed all 3 times. I let the waitress know the first two times the soup was not made correctly! This last time I didn't say anything, figured if I put it in the rating it MIGHT help.The cream was added while the base was too hot and not enough baking soda to remove the acidity from the tomatoes. That is key to this soup!!I have the original recipe for the 4B's tomato soup from when I worked at 4B's. My mom worked there as prep cook and cook. Heck, lots of my family worked there! I'll add the recipe that was given to customers back in the day, I have the big batch one in storage somewhere, I'll continue to make my smaller batches, that way I know I'm getting the real thing! Maybe the prep cooks need to practice how to make it right, slow down, and follow the directions! Make the Deerlodge restaurant proud to serve that soup again!!!Put Deerlodge back on the map for the best original tomato soup! There are very few 4B's left, get them back to the quality food status they used to be!!! My matador however was good!!

Surprisingly good. I know it shouldn't have to be a surprise. Lol. Traveling. We had dinner, chicken fried steak & open face roast beef. Cooked well with good flavor. Great for a roadside diner!

Really bad serviceHad to remind the waitress three times for toast, still didn’t get toast. She forgot to place my wife’s order, I didn’t won’t to eat while we were waiting for her food. Waitress didn’t write our order down. So no surprise she got our order wrong. Plus she spent 30 minutes on a smoke break.

Great little stop for all sorts of American food, and in walking distance to the RV park.I stopped in here to get some food after parking the RV next door, and it was great. The staff was very friendly and took care of me and quickly. I ordered the spaghetti dinner with a house salad as the side. The food was good and came out quickly as well. No complaints.
poor service and marginal food..French fries tasted like mold and seemed to be microwaved not cooked. Waited a long time for service and even longer to get a bill even after asking a different waitress for a bill. Hardly saw our original waitress.

Our server Amanda was friendly and quick. Coffee never got cold in the cup. The omelets and eggs were prepared perfectly. The hash browns were crispy on the out side and tender on the inside. When we came back the second day Amanda remembered our beverage order from the previous day (I don’t expect this during high season). FYI We always order dry toast so it isn’t soggy. Restaurants always use more butter then I like.

This was an incredible experience for my family! Let’s start with the service.. the waitress we had was incredible. She was prompt to serve and seemed excited to be there! The food was INCREDIBLE! They were simple dishes but done right. I would strongly recommend this diner, and they’re inexpensive as well!
