One of the few places open during our trip (early Oct). Good menu selection, service was fast and friendly. Food was ok, pretty average, but we just had burgers. Most people seemed to be ordering pizza, so that might have been a better idea. We were pretty happy just to get any kind of dinner after hiking all day in the off season :)

The draft beers, cocktails and pizzas are all really good. Sometimes the staff seem a bit frazzled with orders, but if you're a little patient they'll look after you.

Good food close to our cabin. I feel like we got a decent value for our money. I got the Caesar Salad, which was good. I also got the Southwest Burger. Good flavor and size, with that I got the sweet potato fries. Our server didn't really talk a whole lot and didn't really show any expression. Other reviews mentioned understaffing but it seems like that got that figured out, which is good to see. I would probably try the pizza next time because there were a lot of options there.

it was our server's 2nd day and you could tell, as she was very nervous. Her colleague who was "helping" her wasn't much help at all. There appeared to be 4 servers for the dining room, but only 2 seemed to actually be waiting on tables. Two of us ordered soda, only one of us got it before the meal and we had to reminder the server to bring the. Worst bison burger we've eve encountered. The poor bison died twice - once literally and a second time figuratively on the grill. Well done would have been an improvement! Fries for 2/3 of our party were lukewarm, borderline cold. Would not recommend to anyone.

We have been coming through here and stopping for dinner since they first opened and have always loved it. However, this weekend was the worst experience yet. To sum it up, took over 15 minutes to even get service (4 other tables in there with 3 servers, so not busy), the locals were given menus with steak etc while us tourists had a pizza/burger option only. I even asked if there was a special this weekend and the server told me no. Not sure how steak dinners can’t be for all guests? We settled on pizza that was par cooked so hard to eat without plates that were on their way a few times, so they said. The staff didn’t ask how things were or if we needed anything else…I would have loved some wine at this point. The kicker was the server actually waited for the tip and didn’t even say thank you to us. If you’re a tourist, keep driving. Little do they know, we pay taxes in the next county - so not really locals.

The Peak is a hidden gem in this small hamlet. The excellent food, service and atmosphere that awaits you inside is not what first comes to mind as you approach the door. Don’t let that fool you.Enjoy!

The food was great ! Pizza was plentiful and delicious . Very clean and the servers were all very professional and courteous . Looks like a small building from the outside but very large inside. You won’t be disappointed if you go.

While staying in East Glacier, my family and I went to The Peak Restaurant 3 nights in a row! The cheese bread and pizza were our 1st night's dinner, burgers night 2 and the 3rd night we all had huge salads. All the meals were very good. They were a little short staffed, but for the most part the servers were on top of things -- and they were busy too! Prices reasonable, restrooms clean and food excellent!

Stopped in for dinner after a day hiking in Glacier. Place was very busy, but wait for a table was short.Lots of pizza choices, plus burgers and steaks. Lots of TV's with a variety of sports to keep you interest. Burgers were good and service was prompt. Saw lots of pizzas going by to other tables. Would probably try a pizza next time.
