One of the few places open during our trip (early Oct). Good menu selection, service was fast and friendly. Food was ok, pretty average, but we just had burgers. Most people seemed to be ordering pizza, so that might have been a better idea. We were pretty happy just to get any kind of dinner after hiking all day in the off season :)
Good food close to our cabin. I feel like we got a decent value for our money. I got the Caesar Salad, which was good. I also got the Southwest Burger. Good flavor and size, with that I got the sweet potato fries. Our server didn't really talk a whole lot and didn't really show any expression. Other reviews mentioned understaffing but it seems like that got that figured out, which is good to see. I would probably try the pizza next time because there were a lot of options...
The Peak is a hidden gem in this small hamlet.The excellent food, service and atmosphere that awaits you inside is not what first comes to mind as you approach the door. Don’t let that fool you.Enjoy!
