The food was greasy. Each time I dined there it was worse than the time before. The ambiance is lacking as well. It is crowded and noisy. I don't think I will be going back again.

What in the world happened to Easter Brunch March 31, 2024? I had the sausage "thing". Re heated quiche with barely warm "roasted" potatoes. Kind of made me wonder if they are recycling the aluminum pans from the reheated frozen food and, "where is your costco receipt?" My daughter had the biscuits and gravy... dry, old, unappetizing biscuits and what was described as canned gravy. Can't recycle those cans. One more chance under the new owners but, it is not looking like a destination any longer. New wait staff. I did not recognize any of the faces and they all appeared to be much younger than the ladies I have seen before. My Easter experience is in sharp contrast to my previous experience of warm, fresh, great tasting food. I prefered the original waitstaff who presented themselves as real and did not have a "sing-song" voice to add the their fake sincerity. Hooter-esq waitstaff at best. It is Easter and perhaps the real help went to church or were pointing out hidden eggs to their own children. Either way, if this was someones first visit to Edgar Bar... there won't be a second coming.

ALWAYS amazing. If you're looking for a memorable dinner you can't go wrong here. Just make sure to get reservations. You never know when they'll be full.

Don't let the outside fool you! Awesome good, big servings, come hungry! Excellent service, highly recommend the trip. Had the firecracker shrimp it was excellent, along with prime rib, and some giant prawns! Overall just an awesome small town place that once you go, you will keep going back.

I've gone to this bar for take-out food and prior to my last visit, I had AWESOME food. My last visit on 2/17/2023 was unimpressive. The tater tots were burnt, my chicken fried steak was burnt, the meatballs on the spaghetti were burnt...I spent $141 for primarily burnt food. I've found other restaurants with amazing food that is cooked to perfection and a lot less cost. I will say on a positive note, the service was great!

The food is insanely delicious and the vibe is fun and laidback! Ribeye from a local ranch was cooked to a perfect medium rare with the best seasoning. The jumbo shrimp are unreal...almost as big as your hand and fresh. We had the jumbo shrimp dinner and the scrimp scampi, both are worth the trip to Edgar. The service was outstanding: fun, attentive and so nice!

Oh my gawd.....what an awesome bar. Laidback atmosphere, no pressure to drink, eat and get out, a decent list of beers from different micro breweries around the state, good food, all in one place. I stopped in for a late lunch / early dinner. The menu had more offerings than I usually see in these small town bars and that alone was impressive. The chicken noodle soup was a special on this day and I would gladly take a vat of that home: Cubed carrots, and large noodles were overtaken by the sheer volume of chicken pieces. All brought together with sage in the perfect broth. The stuffed mushrooms were not the soggy mess I typically come across, but were crispy on the outside-- even after taking them home to re-heat. One of the main specials that night was the steak -- one of two. it did not disappoint. It was cooked exactly as I asked but was huge. I ordered the smaller of the two options so I wonder about the size of the other. The meal comes with the individual loaf of bread. I rarely see that anymore, except in these small town bars. Now on to the service....holy wow! 5 stars for that. What a great place-- definitely a stop for the locals, but it seems as though everyone is treated as a local.

The food here is baller! Steaks are excellent, sandwiches are great, and everything else is solid. Nice seasonal cocktail menu as well. Have been a couple times now and it's worth the trip from Billings if you want a great steak dinner. Waitresses are very knowledgeable and can handle customers who've experienced the inevitable long wait unless you've made a reservation. Don't expect fancy steakhouse atmosphere tho, very small dining hall, non-existent waiting area.
