🔆🔆🔆🔆🔆 five stars are not enough. We arrived as they were done for the day and closing. Yet the staff served us with open arms. The brisket was beyond our expectations. Follow Yer Nose deserves to be a Michelin restaurant.
Good food friendly service
I’ve eaten a lot of portobello mushroom sandwiches in the last 15 years, this was over and above the best one I’ve had. They are deliciously, perfectly smoked and the sandwich had slaw, pimento cheese, and sriracha aioli on it. Chef’s kiss! The hubs and couple we went with loved their brisket and pork sandwiches too. It’s only outdoor seating, but the weather couldn’t be more beautiful.
I don't know how we've lived in the area for so long and are just finding out about Follow Yer Nose.
We stopped in on our way home from Gardiner and I'm glad we did. Definitely one of the best bbq spots I've had on this side of the state! The brisket was smoked to perfection–great flavor and not dry at all. There's nothing I despise more than a dry, chewy brisket. My husband isn't typically a fan of pork ribs and he loved these! They were falling off the rib just like real bbq should. The sides were good, we had baked beans and mac & cheese, but they don't compare to the flavor you get from the bbq meats.
I'm usually a sauce girly but it wasn't needed here. I actually think the sauces took too much away from the smokiness of the meat. The peppa sauce though...so good!
Everyone we interacted with was very friendly. It was a great time overall with a very laid back, local vibe. We'll definitely be back.
It doesn't matter what you order from this place, it's all amazing!! If you drive through this area to or from Yellowsrone, this is a must stop!
This place ranks in my top five all-time for BBQ. The brisket was absolutely fantastic, and the collard greens were perfect. Service was great, and the views of the mountains spectacular. Follow Yer Nose is must dining if you're traveling Hwy 89 near Yellowstone.
Big tables to hang out with friends, visit, and eat some fabulous bbq. Love the sauces!
Was recommended by a local to try out. It was pretty good bbq but what really made it a great stop was the atmosphere and physical establishment. It’s fueled by the community and has great puns all around. We loved the outdoor seating and music. Definitely a cute spot to stop by.
I really do not like BBQ. But our kids crush it so I will cave. With that being said, I reluctantly went here and Ya'll their Bbq IS INCREDIBLE!!! (If my friends see this they are gonna think I was kidnapped). The flavor was next level. All the meat was so tender. Every side we had was so good too.
Staff was so kind and welcoming. Everything we tried was amazing. Like amazing. (we have 3 kids so we tried a lot).
And the let's not forget the view.
We (ok I) will be back... Can't wait to visit ya'll again!
This outdoor BBQ “shack” tucked between Livingston and the Gardiner entrance to Yellowstone, serves up house-smoked meats, southern sides & cold beer. A perfect roadside stop after a day at Yellowstone for BBQ with a view

Ate here 2 times during our vacation to Yellowstone. Highly recommend! Food was great and staff was friendly and helpful. Would definely go back if we vacation here again. We had the smoked turkey (recommended by the staff), pulled pork and brisket sandwich...all excellent. Good sides also! Thanks for a great experience!
So yummy !!! Def recommend!
