Follow Yer’ Nose catered our wedding this past weekend, and we were so incredibly impressed. Sheena and her team are professional, responsive, and went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect. Our guests raved about the food and went back for seconds, some even thirds. I highly recommend Follow Yer’ Nose for catering, or even just stopping to grab a bite to eat. You can’t go wrong with any item on their menu!

The best place in Montana for BBQ! There's often live music, which is nice. I'm always bummed when they close down for the winter, but it's an outdoor restaurant so that's how it goes. They also cater, which is great for large family events!

Some of the best BBQ that we have had. Staff was very friendly and the place looked really inviting. The food was awesome and we are definitely going back again and again. We had a half rack of ribs, 1 pound of pulled pork and a pint of burnt end baked beans.

Very good sandwiches, we got the Yankee Jim (brisket) and Six Mile (smoked sausage) both were delicious! We also ordered the smoked ends beans (okay) and the loaded pasta salad (delicious!). We were in Emigrant for a week and we went back a second time (ordered a half pound of brisket the 2nd time). The seating is really cute too (see pic) I would definitely go again if back in the area!

I have been stopping at Follow Yer Nose for the last 3 years when in Emigrant and it has exceeded expectations every time. Easily the best bbq in Montana. We stopped last night and ordered the pulled pork, ribs, turkey and ‘funguy’ portobello sandwich. All AMAZING. Who knew they would make such a tasty vegetarian sandwich?! Absolutely beautiful outdoor setting, and kind staff. HIGHLY recommend.

Real bbq outside of the south is rare so this place was an awesome surprise for me visiting from Georgia. The sauces are excellent, the atmosphere perfect, and my service was great. A must see restaurant if you're in the area. Warning to southerners though: no sweet tea! Hahaha <3

Best BBQ I’ve had! Every dish is delicious, the ribs, brisket, slaw, collard greens, everything! They had some live music the time we went. It was so delicious that we came back the next day! If you like BBQ, it’s a must try!
I think it could be one of the best places I had briskets in. Quick service, nice people, And the view was just amazing.

The best thing about this place is the views. The meat is smoked/cooked fairly well but the BBQ sauces were NOT good (I know this is somewhat of a personal taste but I can usually find at least one decent sauce at a restaurant...not so much here). Many "unique" sauce options but they need to have at least one traditional Kansas City style, brown sugar based sauce option. The smoked hummus was interesting but the rest of the sides were disappointing. I grew up in an area known as the heart of BBQ and have had the luxury of trying BBQ in just about every state...I may be a BBQ snob but the best thing I can say about this place is they have an awesome view of paradise valley and emigrant peak.

We visited the food truck outside of Gardiner. The food was excellent and the staff was very friendly. Our group had lunch from here the last day before we left town. Our only regret was not finding it until the last day. Brisket and pulled pork were off the charts good. They also have great tasting sauces. We only found this place because we were referred by our river rafting guides Jason and Dante from Montana Whitewater Rafting and Zipline.
