This was by far the BEST restaurant we ate at in Ennis! When my family vacationed there this fall a local we met recommended Alley Bistro. All 5 adults in our party thought the food was absolutely AMAZING! The bread with balsamic oil, chicken piccata and pumpkin pie were spectacular!

We ordered the medium chicken pesto pizza for pickup. The restaurant looked really nice and cozy inside, but I was picking up our pizza on the bowling alley side. Carmen greeted me and she was just so friendly and bubbly! The pie was hot and fresh and incredibly delicious!! We didn’t finish it but it was WAY too good to throw out, so I’m eating it the next day on our road trip to Salt Lake City! ???

Hats off to the staff and owners! Had a wonderful meal with friends on Friday evening. The salmon special was delicious and I am hoping it will be a regular menu item. My husband had the steak that was perfectly prepared. The grilled pork chop is a must too. Thanks James and Zara for making this our go to place! And a special thank you to Lindsay who always does a wonderful job taking care of us.

In Ennis, I was pointed to The Alley Bistro for their Thursday night Prime Rib special. FABULOUS!!! Tender and tasty and cooked perfectly. Hat tip to Chef James. The poached potato is another must. I rounded my meal with roasted carrots. For dessert, the apple crisp was also excellent! Service was excellent and the atmosphere is cozy.
We came back a few days later for take-out pizza in the other side of the business. It was better than most and we enjoyed it immensely. Thanks to Pizza Chef Grace!

We came here while in Ennis for a wedding and were delighted to find this gem! Perfect fuel before a busy weekend. The food was incredible— the chicken piccata was so darn good. Lindsey was our server, and she was so attentive and wonderful. Can’t wait to stop here again!

Food was great all around; Cornmeal-fried Calamari was unique and tasty, Burger was juicy and flavorful, and pizza was perfect - good dough / crust and (seemingly) fresh ingredients baked crispy!
