For a bunch of Iowans. The service and the food was excellent. Thank you very much.
Just a dive cafe. The wife and I sat at the counter, not really friendly staff, and the place was not busy. Coffee was ok. I ordered a breakfast with two eggs hashbrown toast and ground steak. The waitress asked how I wanted it cooked med rare. Got the breakfast it was hot, but the meat was cooked well done. Had to ask for a tuch up on the coffee now, and it took forever to get the food . So, it's a hard pass on this place. Ah, and not the cleanest cafe. I have been to, just a disappointment for small town Montana.
It was just a little older. But real good service. Good place for breakfast.
Don't go here if you don't have time to hang out. There were people there waiting for their food for over 30mins. And we haven't gotten seated yet, and the person asked us twice what we needed. We chose to go down the street
Great food and nice people. I come here often on my way to Ennis to Volunteer. I choose this place over others and keep coming back for a reason
The people are friendly, but it took 45 minutes from when we sat down to when we got our food, and we ordered immediately when the waitress finally came over. We ordered an omelet and the McAllister (1 egg and bacon), so it's not like we had a large party or ordered high maintenance food. The restaurant wasn't even very busy, so I'm not sure why it took so long. No one came over to update us or check on us during our long wait, and my husband was never offered a refill on his black coffee. The food was bland, unseasoned, and below average. My sourdough toast was the best part. This restaurant could definitely benefit from making some changes.
Nice place with good food and service. Only thing is not open enough.
Friendly family atmosphere, food was deliciously fresh, and the waitresses super nice and attentive. The place is old time, cozy and warm, also a must stop for small town lovers to chat with locals.
The food was great.
My family and I love this restaurant. We used to try and stop here frequently on our way to see family. We had just been there a few days ago, and had a great experience… Unfortunately, we tried to stop again on our way back home, and we were approached by a guy who asked us for money. We didn’t have cash, so we expressed that, and my husband walked into the restaurant and sat down at the bar waiting for service.
A few moments later, the same guy who asked us for money, then proceeded to sit down at the bar and asked my husband for a one night stand with me- his wife.
My husband never saw who we assume to be the owner, and never saw anyone working. So my husband left, and I am extremely uncomfortable about this experience. We tried to call the restaurant twice as we pulled away, and got no answer.
