Had one table seated and told us it was a two and a half hour wait. We ended up going next door to Silver Dollar Saloon and had an amazing time! Drinks, karaoke, food....AMAZING! Don't waste your time on Tavern 287!

The culinary experience here was phenomenal. The Fish was exquisite and the Ravioli just melts in your mouth. The Steak is an experience all it's own and the Buffalo meatloaf was a definite treat. For dessert....you must have the German Chocolate Pie! Yes pie, not cake. To die for!

awesome place went there for dinner on a return from Yellowstone on a motorcycle trip. Bruce took our names even though it was getting close to closing we came back at closing time and Bruce seated us and was happy we were there. Staff was awesome back the food stole the show we ordered four different meals everyone was totally impressed. We went to some pretty expensive steak houses but this was hands down our best meal on the trip. I am trying to figure how I can get back there sooner than later for the Elk Oko Buco. If you are ever in the area check this place out 15/10.

The presentation was nice and great service. However the house salad had a high acidity which left me disapointed from the start. I ordered the wagyu beef, the cut was phenomenal and cooked to perfection, but the sad part was the extra salty overwhelming sauce on the steak completely overpowered the cut of meat. The rest of the meal was great and deserts are fantastic. I hope the Chef can understand the value of subtle simple decodence to take this wonderful restaurant to the next level of excellence.

The name of the business is misleading as it is more of a Bistro than a Tavern 🍺... The food is higher quality, there no Tavern atmosphere of a bar, beers of draft, bar stools, etc. Nothing to lead to expression that this is a Montana Tavern.

Unbelievably delicious food in a nice quaint, relaxed atmosphere. The owners, husband and wife, couldn’t be more attentive and caring about the customer experience and quality of their food. If you are close to Ennis for dinner make a reservation, it’s a no brainer. They should double their price for the quality of the experience and food. Way undervalued.

You know it’s good when the 6 year old asks you to give this place 5-stars because they love the steak and scallopini. Wonderful food and service and I only wish we had the chance to take pictures before we ate. We loved the home made lemon macarons at the end!

We were in Ennis for the marathon and discovered this hidden gem. The kids were talking about it for days. Terrific food, very friendly owner, and the best macarons I've had in my life. Will definitely seek it out if we're ever in town again.

My wife and I tried this restaurant on the recommendation of family that we were visiting, and we were extremely satisfied with the quality of the service, and the food was excellent. My wife had the steak and fries, which was a 10 oz. Montana wagyu petite steak, and I had the elk Osso Bucco and a side of game chili. Will most certainly eat here again when we are in town again from the east coast.

To help the next folks in line- this joint requires reservations!! Waited all day to come and eat here…. Looked online, Facebook and elsewhere to see if reservations were needed. They don’t have a website site or at least one that works….

Phenomenal food and service. You must visit here. This place fills up quick, because the food is the best! I got the Bison Meatloaf, and it was the best meatloaf I have ever eaten in my life. When I am in town, this will be my #1 stop.

Perfect mix of small-town charm and big flavor. From the moment we walked in, we felt genuinely welcomed—and a huge part of that was thanks to Bruce, the owner, who was absolutely amazing. You can tell he truly cares about every guest and takes pride in making the experience memorable. He stopped by our table just to chat and make sure everything was perfect—and it was.

The food blew us away—and the atmosphere was cozy, fun, and full of life.

If you’re anywhere near Ennis, don’t miss it. It’s more than just a restaurant—it’s a full experience, made even better by Bruce and the incredible team he’s built. Can’t wait to come back!
