Don't recommend the Mac n Cheese anymore. Bbq sauce is too smokey and bitter tasting and too much put on it. Shouldn't have changed a good thing.The cheese sauce was super dry. It's changed A LOT. Steaks were awesome. Pizza was good as well.

The Compound
The server was oddly stroking the umbrella pole while taking our order. It made our party quite uncomfortable. When she brought out our drinks, she had taken a sip of one beer and burped. It was quite odd. The food was decent but took 1.5hrs to come out.

The place has a cool vibe, the server was very polite and the food was very good. The server was helping us fix the umbrella so we get more shade sitting outside. The busboy constantly checking up on us to make sure we got everything we need. I highly recommend the smokehouse nachos and their smoked white cheddar mac. Their brisket is soooo good I want to go back just for that. Their steak and burger was pretty good too. I will pass on the fish & chips since the fish lack the flavor. But besides that, everything else was good!
Good food and cold beer ! My wife’s mac&cheese was excellent. My salmon was perfectly cooked and delicious. Veggies were a bit overcooked and too soft.

The petroleum product (propane? natural gas? fuel oil?) used to grill the meat and salmon does not seem to burn off cleanly and an industrial chemical smell and taste from it pervades the meat and salmon which is most unpleasant and questionable for your health. I can't believe no one else has mentioned this. Service was slow and uneven.

Fish and chips are really good. Garlic and Parmesan chicken wings have quite a bit of sauce on the chicken wings too much... My thoughts ?. Walleye salad ?. Very good. It took a long time to get our plates. The servers were hustling as the kitchen was behind in orders due to a large table. Kudos to the ladies. Appreciate the cooks for picking up the pace. Thanks to all!!?
