Limited expensive menu. We only ordered each a bowl of soup and it was not even luke warm. No one came back to our table or asked how our food was. I told our server when we paid at the cash register that the soup was barely warm.

This place is fine if you’re looking for bar food and don’t have any sensitivities as almost every menu item involves Gluten and or Dairy. It’s a disappointing far cry from what it used to be. Cinders originally had a unique factor of high quality mostly scratch food worth the 40 min drive from Great Falls, but not anymore. We should have listened to the farmer we met at the Fairfield gas station, when we told him we were going to Cinders he said he quit going there because the food wasn’t very good anymore. Oh well… it was a nice night for a drive.
Excellent food in a small Montana town only 35 minutes from Great Falls. What a great find. Former corporate chef bringing his love for food using only fresh ingredients. Forget I-15 and take a beautiful drive on Highway 89. Family run shows in their hospitality.

Best food I’ve had in this state by far! Absolutely love the Bistro Burger. 10/10 would recommend to everyone I know.
Food is delicious the Truffle Parmesan fries are yummy the 50/50 burger is divine. The parmesan garlic wings on Satirdays is one of my favorites.

Ate there twice with family in mid July. I would be a regular if I lived nearer. Good to see all the positive posts. They deserve them.

Burgers are delicious, steaks are tender and flavorful, parm fries taste great too. Everything I have tried has been delicious. Serving sizes are large and filling. Soups are quite flavorful and satisfying. The cost of the meal and what you get I feel is very fair.

The prices are ridiculous for a small town. The mac and cheese didn't have actual macaroni noodles, but these big curly ones that were too doughy. Too much garlic, and I like garlic, but way over seasoned. There really isn't any basic options if you just want a plain burger, they only offer specialty stuff. Not kid friendly at all. Their wine is over $25 and it's the $7 brand you get at Walmart. If you order an actual drink, be prepared to spend $10 for a 6oz glass. If there is a party of four wanting to eat out, expect a $100 tab, if not more. Very disappointing.
The coffee was extremely strong and tasted old. The second cup wasn't old but still undrinkable. We asked twice for a spoon. All the tables only had a fork and knife on each napkin. Our soup came out we still weren't given spoons so my husband had to go to the bar to ask for spoons. The soup was extremely salty. My burger was so wet that it was almost impossible to hold. The older lady at the bar was very kind and someone I would enjoy talking to. Might be better as a bar but not as a restaurant.
We stopped here between Yellowstone and Glacier for a quick bite to eat. We had a hamburger, bowl of chicken noodle soup, and a Cobb salad between the usual lunch and dinner rushes. Our food was quick, tasty, and the service was outstanding. Prices are extremely reasonable.
