The food is way upscale and incredibly delicious. The folks running the place are friendly and attentive. Very laid back Montana atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Place fills up so go a little early.

I hate telling people about places this good because I like the hidden gems staying hidden, but WFK is so far off the beaten path, I feel safe to share. The service and food here are incredible. Our first night, we had the pork ribs (amazing cherry bbq sauce), mac and cheese, caldera cauliflower (best thing on the menu), peach salad (excellently seasoned and the mozz cheese was awesome), and the potato salad. Literally every dish was on point, I couldn't find a thing to critique. It was so good we came back a second night and tried the brisket with most of the same sides. The owner was kind enough to walk me through the caldera cauliflower recipe and even told me to call him if I have trouble figuring it out at home. Kindness on another level! When you run into your rafting guides at the restaurant you know you picked the local's favorite. I hope they'll start opening up locations in Bozeman and beyond.

This is a lovely building with plenty of seating, some inside, some outside but shaded. The food was amazing. We ate here both nights we were in town. I did not expect to have seafood in Montana but I had scallops one night and crab cakes the next. My husband had lamb & duck which were always on the menu. All of the food was amazing! There was a good selection of local beer & wine. Everyone working was friendly, helpful & seemed like they really wanted to be there. If I could give it more stars I would.

Imagine finding the needle in the haystack! This place is the needle! Stumbled across wildflower after white water rafting. All I can say is WOW! Not only is the food absolutely amazing, but the space and the wait staff are just as great! I’d recommend ANYTHING here!!!! Must stop and worth the detour on any trip! Can’t wait to go back again!!!!

Wow, wow, wow! This place has amazing food, wonderful service, great wine and a lovely atmosphere. My husband and I had been traveling for several weeks on a road trip from Arizona to Ohio, Michigan, Wisconsin, Minnesota, South Dakota, Montana, Colorado and back to Arizona. Wild Flower Kitchen was BY FAR the best restaurant of the trip! What a lovely surprise in this beautiful part of our country. And, a bonus, very reasonably priced for the quality of the food. We dined here two nights and would have dined a third night, but they were closed on Monday and Tuesday :-(. The first night we ordered the fish and chips, fig and brie sandwich with lemon vinaigrette salad as well as the Montana Mess for dessert and a couple of glasses of red wine. All was super delicious! The salad was particularly memorable....so fresh and lemony. We chatted with Benji, the owner, for a while. He was so pleasant and endearing. It is abundantly clear how much he enjoys his job and running his business :-). The second night we came back for the Tikka Masala and the Mushroom Pasta. Benji is from the U.K., so it stands to reason that there would be a good Tikka Masala on the menu. It was delicious. Probably our favorite of the four dishes we ordered. The house-made pasta was very tasty too. I will add that I am a VERY picky person, especially about my food and dining experiences. I happen to love food and dining out...so much so that I became a food tour guide in my home town of Tucson, Arizona (Tucson Food Tours). If you are anywhere near Absarokee, it is worth your while to come and check out Wild Flower Kitchen.

We went there based on reviews The waiters were super nice. You have to sit outside but it was a very nice day. I got street tacos. 3. They were good and well stuffed. However some extra salsa or sour cream would be good as they were tasty but dry Hubby got fish and chips. They were soggy and under fried I took a pic but it won’t load. I think the problem was they are served in cardboard containers. They should use paper Plates for stay on premises dining. The containers are not easy to cut food or use utensils in and they hold moisture. We told the waiter and I even showed him it. He said it can’t be undercooked because they didn’t change the recipe. That confused us. Not frying them long enough had nothing to do with the recipe. Then he got another waiter who basically babbled the same message. We did not want anything in return. We just felt they should know. It was pretty obvious. I will post pic after I edit size. Instead of saying they were sorry it wasn’t to our likings they stood at our table mumbling about the recipe. My husband ate 2 of my tacos and left the fish plate mostly uneaten We are not picky eaters but doughy fish is a no no. They could have taken it back to cook a bit longer. We won’t be back

Delicious food! Takeaway or eat al fresco for the time being but so very happy to have discovered a restaurant we will go back to again and again.
