The food is way upscale and incredibly delicious. The folks running the place are friendly and attentive. Very laid back Montana atmosphere in a beautiful setting. Place fills up so go a little early.
I hate telling people about places this good because I like the hidden gems staying hidden, but WFK is so far off the beaten path, I feel safe to share. The service and food here are incredible. Our first night, we had the pork ribs (amazing cherry bbq sauce), mac and cheese, caldera cauliflower (best thing on the menu), peach salad (excellently seasoned and the mozz cheese was awesome), and the potato salad. Literally every dish was on point, I couldn't find a thing to critique....
This is a lovely building with plenty of seating, some inside, some outside but shaded. The food was amazing. We ate here both nights we were in town. I did not expect to have seafood in Montana but I had scallops one night and crab cakes the next. My husband had lamb & duck which were always on the menu. All of the food was amazing! There was a good selection of local beer & wine. Everyone working was friendly, helpful & seemed like they really wanted to be there....
