Tonight was the maiden voyage of the Chimichanga at The Joseph Cafe. It came out piping hot, stuffed full of chicken, beans and Pico de Gallo, and was as big as my head! The flavor was outstanding and I will be full for a week! If you are close by, come in and treat yourself to good food. Great job Laurie, Ty, and the crew of the Joseph Cafe!

Had the best Philly sandwich. Fries were awesome. The service and friendly atmosphere was very good. Will definitely be going back!

Well, the new ownership hasn't impressed. The salads that were so popular have shrunk by at least 40 percent in size. The Chicken Caesar that used to boast large chunks of grilled chicken now contained small pieces that were difficult to find. The check was dropped on the table with the food order and other orders at our table were screwed up. The atmosphere was more like a bar than a nice dining experience.

Forsyth was a stop for me and a girlfriend during our roadtrip from BC, Canada, to Rockford, IL. The Joseph Cafe was recommended to us from our hotel as we arrived late. It was close to closing time, so very quiet, but we were absolutely welcomed and had the best time. Our server (Chelsey!) was a GEM and it was so nice to have one-on-one time with her!! Food was great (tons of options to choose from) & atmosphere was cozy!

Very friendly staff. My server recommended the breakfast tacos, and I am glad I listened. They were very flavorful and the homemade pico de gallo was excellent. They were filling, but not to the point where you feel too full. I talked with a lot of the staff, who were friendly and made great conversation. I enjoyed the breakfast and hope to come back and try lunch or dinner sometime.

I am absolutely disgusted with the customer service of the new owners of the restaurant. This has been a regular spot for us for many years. We will no longer be coming back. The new menu changes are awful. Our food we’ve been getting for years was different. It didn’t hit the same spot as it use too. No more Avacado or peppers on the BLT, getting rid of jalapeño cream cheese, and other various items. Our food was slopped together and not the same. I am very disappointed. They forgot something on our order. So we approached the waitress (who was a absolute delight to deal with, very kind) she apologized and proceeded to go get the forgotten item. Then the new owner (Lori) then proceeded to be disrespectful and tell me how that item will no longer be on the menu in a rude manner and made me feel small and uncomfortable. Sad to see such a good restaurant go down the dumps because of new ownership. Our favorite restaurant is no longer our favorite. We will be eating else where from now on. I would like to reiterate that the waitresses were absolutely wonderful however.

The menu was large and interesting, something for everyone. I would reccomend asking for a temp on your burger unless you want it well done. Still tasty. Our server, Beau? Bo? was a real gem! He rolled with our groups banter and sense of humor and really made it a lunch to remember! Be sure to ask for a taster of his chili! You will probably end up getting a bowl!

DELICIOUS FOOD! My husband's side salad had all kinds of yummy things on it, like strawberries, blueberries and pumpkin seeds! I had these roasted Brussel sprouts with a dipping sauce that were SO good! The phyilly sandwich and fries were perfection! My husband's steak was cooked just right! The atmosphere was lacking for sure, but the waitress was adorable and very attentive! It's going to be a new favorite place!

We hunted online for a lunch place to stop at when we ended our drive across US-12. This cafe popped up so we went there. It's a nice, neat little place in the 'downtown' area of Forsyth, right off the interstate. Food was good. Clearly a locals' place. Glad we stopped.

The food was good and the atmosphere was a little outdated. The server was polite but very slow.

If you're near Forsyth, MT, this is a hidden gem of a restaurant! The dinner or side salads are as good as you'll ever get anywhere, with fresh berries. A good local feeling in a small and kinda funky but fun town. Service was good, but made better, by the effort and friendliness of the young servers.

The food is great and the staff was wonderful. It's too bad we were just on our way through. I would definitely stop in again. Highly recommend.

Excellent food. The side salad was full of fresh berries and veggies. Best side salad I've ever had.
