The huge issue is all the tables are setup for parties of 4-6 but, it’s all seat yourself. So three times in a row I’ve gone literally at 9:30 as they open and magically there’s several single parties holding tables for an hour.

They deserve to eat the food and I assume it’s good but :/ can’t be apart of a community that hogs everything.

My son was visiting Montana for the first time. I took him to have breakfast at Meadow Creek Cafe for a true local experience. We were not disappointed. The service was wonderful and the food was right on.

Everything is made from scratch. And, it is delicious! We had the meadow creek platter. They baste their eggs making the perfect yolk to dip your toast. We opted for sour dough, yum! The bacon was perfect to me, and the homemade hashbrowns were delicious. Not doused in fat or spices. We shared a homemade biscuit and gravy, also made from scratch. Portions were spot on. A decent amount but not the grossly oversized amount at some places. The owner and waitress was lovely. The cafe is an antique store turned gathering place for locals and those who know about this little gem, just off the highway. An open and inviting space with natural light and a mix of various styles of tables and chairs, an old piano, local art and offerings. We leave satiated knowing we will be back soon!
