The Alcan Bar represents so much of Montana. Amazing food and people. The owners are always working, they help the community whenever approached and they are just all around great people. The atmosphere is that of original Montana, full of greetings and smiles and welcomes. The food is good and at a great price. Top it off with activities like pool, gaming and darts and you’re guaranteed to have a great evening. The owners work hard to not only provide great food at good prices, but also they really try to help their employees, above and beyond a paycheck. They are amazing. If you haven’t checked out the Alcan, you’re really missing a good time.

This is absolutely embarrassing. I cannot believe you would charge 24 dollars for the appetizer combo and there are literally only 25 items even in the box and it's mostly tots! It was a Togo order and I got home and was extremely disappointed.

I'm a little more partial To the Alcan bar then the other bars in frenchtown but that's because they keep my Jose cold but also have great people a great honor and good food far food but it's still good food, I go there quite a bit

Lunch there Friday May 24 2024 for 1st time on a whim. The server Ryan was a delight. The burgers were the best! Onion rings excellent. Hopefully we will be back as we reside in Missoula. From the outside you wonder if its Good, but inside very rustic and quaint. Enjoyed the experience.

This WAS my husband and I go to spot for YEARS after we moved from Missoula to Huson. But after yesterday I will not return. A group of us sat down at a table and we waited for almost 10 minutes. The bartender didn’t come over so we assumed he was busy. My husband, and one of our group members went over to order some drinks and when my husband approached the bar, he was watching a video on a phone with another customer. My husband approached the bar and asked if we could get a drink order in, he looked at my husband and our friend and told him you can wait very rudely. Went back to watch video /talking with customer. So we picked up our things and we left.

The Alcan is a great spot! It keeps us coming back. And you’ll always be able to make some friends while you’re there. Good pool table and clean bathrooms. My favorite is to go for breakfast with a Bloody Mary!

The owner is an excellent bartender and cook, the staff aswell. Great food for a reasonable price fresh local ingredients
Kid-friendliness: The crowd during lunch and super are always decent small town regulars that are hard working and respectful.
Came in with 10 to 12 people on my way out of town. Staff went above and beyond to serve us even with a waitress on day one. Love the service and food was delicious and so reasonably priced!
