We had the best experience and stay at 320 Guest Ranch! From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always going the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Breakfast was included and absolutely amazing, and their hospitality truly stood out.
The location is absolutely stunning—nestled between Big Sky and Yellowstone, only about 35 minutes from the West Yellowstone entrance. It offers the perfect mix of peaceful nature and outdoor adventure. Waking up to mountain views and the sound of the river nearby was something I’ll never forget.
We stayed in a riverfront cabin with two bedrooms and a full kitchen, beautifully situated between the river and the mountains, offering spectacular views. The cabin was clean, cozy, and comfortable, with that classic Montana charm and all the modern amenities you could need.
If you're looking for a relaxing and authentic Western getaway, 320 Guest Ranch is the place. I can’t recommend it enough and definitely plan to return! We’re incredibly thankful for everything the staff did and for how warmly they welcomed us—from check-in to check-out.
Absolutely love this ranch! Highly recommend the horse trails, and Chuck wagon bbq. Staff is friendly. Will be back again!
Fantastic stay. Great accommodations and staff!!
We had a fantastic stay at 320 Guest Ranch Lodge! The cabin was cozy, clean, and surrounded by beautiful mountain views. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, making us feel welcome throughout our visit. It was the perfect mix of comfort, nature, and adventure — a peaceful and memorable getaway. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the area!
Nestled amidst breathtaking natural beauty – majestic mountains, a winding river, lush trees, stunning landscapes, and crisp, clean air – the 320 Guest Ranch truly lived up to its amazing reputation. For three nights, it served as the perfect basecamp for exploring Yellowstone National Park. While the park was a convenient 30-minute drive away, the journey itself was a feast for the eyes. Our cozy cabin, complete with a full kitchen, offered all the comforts of home. And the breakfasts? Simply divine, featuring an array of delicious homemade dishes. Without a doubt, the 320 Guest Ranch will be my top choice for accommodation should I find myself in this region again.
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here for the most part. I'll start with the positives:
- breakfast was the best part of our stay and was an incredible buffet with different options on both of our days.
- the staff is friendly and helpful.
- it was cool having a wood fireplace and being provided wood/fire starter.
- the WiFi works well although I wish it had a password.
- our king mattress was comfortable and the pillows were better than average.
- the room was clean.
- the windows open and are screened.
- the local dog is friendly and cute.
Negatives:
- the roads are pretty bad, especially for my low car. To get to our cabin I had to navigate muddy potholes.
- our AC in the cabin was pretty bad. It was difficult to understand and was inconsistent. The bathroom was pretty much always freezing.
- there is no TV in the room (this may be a positive for some).
- the products used in the bathroom (lotion, shampoo, etc.) are from Dial. This is likely the cheapest option and not something we would use.
- the cabins are similar to a duplex. I thought it was a standalone unit we booked, but thankfully it was not crowded and we did not have a neighbor.
- the door is a standard keyed lock. I wish it was a key pad so there isn't a risk of losing a key or needing to keep up with one.
Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives and we would stay here again.
Don't bring your kids here, Google the owners name, see for yourself. Go ahead, read it. Absolutely vile, wicked, repulsive, irredeemable. Those poor little girls.Lives destroyed.
Mountain Chalet was wonderful! Plenty of room for me and my three friends. They provided firewood for the fireplace, a grill and charcoal, and a plethora of towels and toiletries. The free breakfast was better than expected, varying what was served each day. Overall, great stay for the price. A little far of a drive if you are skiing at Big Sky.
Our stay at 320 guest ranch was spectacular. The complementary breakfast served every morning was home made, super fresh and rotated each morning. I will be thinking about the bacon for a long time, it was delicious. There was a fireplace in the cute little cabin making the experience perfect. The two girls working at breakfast and the front desk were so kind and helpful. She provided dinner recommendation for BBQ about 10 minutes up the road and it was so incredible we went twice in our 3 night stay.
We came down for the sleigh ride and it was amazing! Chuck was a fantastic guide. I loved learning about the history of the ranch. The bartender/snacktender was super friendly and awesome too. Thank you!

We wanted to ski at Big Sky two days in a row and didn't want to drive two hours each way. 320 Ranch was extremely close to the mountain, but allowed us to have peace and quiet and a lovely dose of authentic ranch culture. The sleigh ride and chili feed was fantastic. Would do it again.
Great place!
It was a wonderful evening of fun!
This place was incredible and the sleigh ride was magical! Definitely worth the trip and beautiful countryside!
This place lives rent-free in my head for decades now
